this is the 3rd one i tried. the other two i bought at Auto zone. They were the exact same as this. I have a base model 2004 Mini Cooper with r50 engine. this WILL NOT WORK. the o-ring/grommet they send won't fit where the input hose goes. get the "AMS Automotive Clutch Slave Cylinder S1992" - this worked. No grommet needed.

Does not come with the 0-ring gasket that fits onto the hydraulic tube. That's what is leaking on my Cooper, figured that there would be a new o-ring in the new slave cylinder and just replace it all! NOPE! NADA! Sending back, This is two products in one day from Dorman that isn't complete as far as I'm concerned. Looks like they get to eat the shipping, I would think that it would have been worth their time and effort to make sure that the products are complete so that the customer can properly finish a job. Probably not going to order from Dorman in future if I have a choice.

The part was defective straight out of the box. Would suggest not getting this. The bleeder valve, rubber boot, and appearance is of poor quality. Bad mistake on my part for purchasing thinking I could save some money. Don't skimp, buy OEM.

Bought to replace the original clutch salve cylinder on my 2006 MINI Cooper John Cooper Works. Looks exactly like the part I removed and bolted on perfectly. There are online videos on the web on how to bleed these properly so that the clutch will work correctly. Would buy again.
