If you have a 6.5 diesel and you’re looking to get this part then you already know the deal!The plastic on my truck was leaking and instead of messing with it, I removed it, cut the line and installed this, and it worked perfect. Super easy job to do and was the correct size.

Used this to thread into the top of my Moroso Expansion tank and it worked perfectly.You basically get what you see in the pic and everything fit as expected; the threads are perfect and the rib at the end of the fitting worked perfectly for the hose and hose clamps I used.Definitely recommend!

Fit perfectly on my 1985 Perkins 4.108 for the hot water circuit on my sailboat. Old one almost rusted through. Prime it and paint it with high temp engine paint and it will outlast you.

... but not much flow. Unit is made of cadmium plated Steel, and I estimate it would handle 800 pounds per square inch. It is very heavy duty, and would handle pressures far in above anything you will find in an automotive cooling system. The 5/8 in nominal hose ID is necked down to a 3/8 in orifice by this adapter.
