Replaced the shoes and used this kit and it has all the springs and retainers you need to put everything back together

The major malfunction was that the pins to hold the shoes to the backing plate were too short. Hence the new springs were too long.

I ordered this parking brake hardware kit for my 2011 Subaru WRX. I ordered the kit because Amazon indicated that it would fit my car and because the items pictured are the sort of hardware I need (they look the same as the ones I've removed from my parking brake). However, the kit I received was in a box that had already been opened and it contained parking brake hardware for an entirely different parking brake.

Shipping was slow. All of the springs came twisted together and were hard to pull apart. Some of the springs were too long and I had to reuse some of the old ones.

Locating pins are too long and interfere with rotation of lug nut stud head on bearing plate. Had to re-use old retaining pins. Everything else was fine.
