This sewing table is not quality made. I purchased it based on the materials and the features. It was difficult to put together. The instructions were a little confusing. I went to move it to another spot in my house and it fell apart. We took great care when we moved it to make sure that it wouldn’t happen. The peg that allows you to open the table snapped in half. My daughter tried to glue the table back together. I would return this if it was feasible. I bought this table for an expensive sewing machine I purchased on Amazon. Rather than take a chance of the table giving way I am going to discard it and purchase a different table.

The instructions show sketches, not a clear easy view of assembly steps. I had to carefully study the sketches over and over. It took me about 4 hours to assemble without the door. Had to call my son and grandson to help attach door (2 people to hold the door in place and 1 person to add the screws). The door seems much heavier than the rest of the table. I will be using this as a sewing table.

Desk folds down into a cube for easy transport. Very easy to assemble, but I recommend adding woood glue to several parts as you go - always do that on builds like this just in case. Fast build, and seems to hold a fair bit of weight for the half that really rests on a sole edge of wood and a dowel. Perfect for a small space and looks great.

Fast shipping! As shown in ad, not hard to assemble though I found the hardware a bit undersized.

My sewing room is relegated to a larger closet in our apartment and I've set it up (for the most part) so that everything I need to sew and do other art projects are well contained and easy to access in this 4x6 "room". I saw this sewing table and the dimensions work for the space I have available. I like that this is on wheels, meaning I can pull it out when I want to sew and then squirrel it away when I am done. That said, the casters need to be upgraded, they are very cheap and I don't think they will last long. This sewing table/desk is really 3-1/2 stars.I LIKE- Size is perfect for my needs- Expanded desktop will allow me to work with some of the larger items I sew- Small storage boxes on the inside of the door for oft used sewing tools- Shelf for sewing machine protects it from damage while stored- Goes well with my matte Kallax bookcasesNOT SO MUCH- The instructions lacked details about where the 3rd #5 (back support) goes and which way the expanded tabletop should face when assembling. I figured out the top but missed the 3rd backing until I was finished the majority of the assembling.- My sewing machine appears to be slightly too wide for this cabinet and luckily, I did not put in the 3rd backing (which is behind the shelf that holds the sewing machine), if I had, I would not be able to close the cabinet door.- The tabletop is supposed to be secured to the door with a wood peg, but I think there could have been a better solution, it isn't terrible, it is just weird - you cannot leave the peg in the door, nor really on the tabletop, so what do you do with it? Weird.- The shelves are held together with a simple peg and small thin screw. One of the shelves is already falling apart.- The casters are terrible. They either do not roll or the front castor on the front door and the one on the front of the main cabinet get locked together.Overall, this is a good solution for my needs at the moment and I'll work with it to upgrade the casters and will glue the shelves in place for more security.

I got two different styles of this, this one for my serger and the other for my main sewing machine. Very happy with purchase.
