I have, over the years, invested in both warm socks and in non-skid socks. The non-skid socks have been great—in summer. The warm socks have been best when I’m wearing a shoe, but sometimes felt a little restrictive if I was just kicked back watching football or reading a book. Even when I kept them on, I was a hazard to myself and others slipping around on the hardwood floors. I attribute this lack of balance to back surgeries I’ve had—my wife assured me I was that way long before. Also, I never liked wearing socks to bed.Anyhow, browsing around for some new boot socks recently, I stumbled across these. Once they arrived I put them to the test immediately. Are they warm? Absolutely! They’re a “double†sock with a soft lining. Due to this, they’re also very comfortable—and paradoxically my feet don’t get over warm. They’re comfortable enough to wear to bed. I get to sleep sooner because I don’t have to wait for my feet to warm up. And finally, they are nonskid! The little silicone-like beading on the bottoms give me great grip. I’ve already ordered additional pairs. If I didn’t have to, I might not put shoes on again until Spring.I give these a big 5 stars.

My husband told me one winter about how when he was a kid he had slipper socks and loved them. They had those sticky bits on the bottom so you didn't slip and were super warm and comfy. I decided this--THIS--was the Christmas "stocking" stuffer. He was so pleased to open them Christmas morning and put them on immediately. He takes them off before getting into bed and puts them on every day when he gets up. They're thick and great quality. The patterns on the sides are masculine, but still attractive and a bit fun. We would definitely recommend them.

The socks look feel great. They don’t stretch very much (I have size 13w shoes) and can still fix with little extra room to spare. By themselves not very warm but in my slippers, they are very warm. I have not washed them yet Will be interesting to see how they hold up.

They feel nice and warm. The material is a bit thin and I wonder about the durability.Says one size men and women but they sent a men's 41-46 what ever that is. Looks like a men's 8 or 9 to me. I bought this for a gift so I can't try them on.

I bought these so that my fiance and I can have semi-matching fuzzy socks, and boy am I happy I did! These are so soft and nice. They are a little bit big on me since I'm a girl, but I don't mind. They are great quality and don't fall apart or lose their softness in the wash, unlike some other brands. SO COMFY!

I thought I"d try a pair for lounging around home,they are Super comfortable & warm. I wish they made them with a simpler design pattern but they do the job fine and only one buddy laughed. I would buy again. Ladies they hold up wash after wash, I wash mine by hand soak in cold water with detergent & borax (my choice) 20 min soak, Rinse very well,hang to dry.

These slipper socks fit my size 11 feet very well. They are warm and comfortable. They definitely offer protection against sliding on our wood floors. So far, I have washed each pair a couple of times and they have held up well. TIme will tell how durable they are, but no complaints at present.

Very warm, extremely comfy and soft, great for my sensitive skin. Easy to wash (I suggest using mesh to preserve these better).
