I have been a tree trimmer since I was 12 years old. I bought the spike and belt set along with this rope. This is HIGH QUALITY rope material and will last a lifetime - to me anyways!

I use this with a come a long when cutting down wrong leaning trees. Bought a throw bag to go up and over then fasten this pull rope and pull it back around. Take it over to the come a long and do my cut.

This rope has held up well but it's really stiff. It's hard to tie and dress proper knots with. Even after using it a while it's still stiff, especially in the cold. It might work well for your uses, but for tree rigs it's a pain to work with. I'll end up buying something else sooner than later.
