These snaps are ok. They're a little lighter weight than the heavy duty ones that my local sporting goods store (specializing in hunting dogs) sells. The spring also feels a little cheap. I wouldn't trust these to secure a strong active dog, but I'm just using them to snap closed a puppy exercise pen. They'll work fine for my needs.

These are strong and smooth in your hand. They are all functional. Most of them are a little rough in the spring action, but they all work.
