Double Fold Bias Tape Quilt Binding
Bias tape has numerous uses, from button loops to high-contrast decorative elements and more.
Bias tape, made from strips of bias-cut fabric, is most commonly used to finish garment edges, especially along necklines and armholes.
Double-fold bias tape is single-fold bias tape that has been folded in half and pressed with the single folds to the inside.
Double Fold Bias Tape Quilt Binding
There are two ways to sew on double-fold bias tape.
- Single-step binding: In this application, the tape is not unfolded. You just sandwich the raw edges of the item you are binding between the folded bias tape and sew it on, making sure you catch both ends in a single line of stitching.
- Two-step binding: In this application, the bias tape is unfolded and one side is sewn on. The tape is folded back up and the other side is sewn on.

I thought this would not be quite as bright pink as it was. It also seems thinner than other bias tapes I’ve used.

Product i received was not as pictured canary yellow it's more like a gold. Very disappointed.
