While the wheel is heavy duty, it has been less than a year and it is already rusting.Do not buy these if looking for stainless steel.

We use this pulley in conjuction with another one to hoist items from the first floor to the second floor of our shop. It is well made with smooth action. Heavy duty and a good value for the price.

These are made from real (non magnetic) stainless - both the pulley itself and the bracket. I did not test the bearing but I expect it will last as long as the rest in any use. I love that you can remove the bolt in case you have to thread a cable through that has a crimped end. The nut has a nylon insert so it will not vibrate loose. The only problem I see with this is that the mount should be larger with larger holes. This is rated at 1/2 ton but the holes are just over 1/4 inch and very close to the pulley - not much room to get a socket wrench in position. I could get 1/4 inch bolts through the holes, but I would much rather have been able to use 3/8" or larger bolts. Still the pulley runs true and smooth and I'm sure this will last a long time.
