Does bread last longer in the fridge or on the counter?
It is best not to put your bread in the refrigerator. The starch molecules in bread will recrystallize quickly at cool temperatures, and cause the bread to deteriorate faster when refrigerated, and the taste will become poor. Store-bought bread should be stored in a sealed plastic bag at room temperature, not in the refrigerator.

This seems to be very well designed and going to be sturdy. I like it, even though it’s a bit smaller than I wanted, I think it’ll be fine for bread, I was hoping to lay my grande burrito wrapper inside too.I find that it’s better to hook up the lower door and then hook up the upper door by resting it on the lower door.I also liked the way they had compartmentalized all of the little screws in various little bags so you didn’t have to figure out which one is M which one is O and which one is N because it tells you right there on the bag.It also included a handy screwdriver, which I appreciated, it made it easy for me instead of having to search my house for one.

I can’t stand having bread sitting out on the counter, so for years, I’ve been stuffing it in the microwave. It looked better, but it was such a pain every time I needed to use the microwave. This bread box is a total game changer! It took me about 15 minutes to put together, and it looks awesome. The quality seems solid, and it keeps everything neat and out of the way. Love it!

For the price, this is a reasonably good bread box. It looks good on the shelf. It's functional easy enough to clean. My only complaint is that it may be a little difficult to fit some bread into it. But the dimensions are accurateAs long as you make sure you're aware of the size, I would recommend this bread box. If I were to buy another bread box and instead I would consider buying a single compartment bread box or one that's just a little bit larger. So when I make my own bread I won't have problems fitting the loaves.Just to clarify for standard American sliced bread, loaves, hot dog buns etc. This should work just fine.

While this should have been an easy enough build, the instructions have you doing multiple pieces at once which makes assembly harder, but on top of that the backing pieces were warped and the bottom one was cracked a good few inches. I slapped some duct tape on the back, since I'm using it for non-bread storage and it should be fine, that would've only docked it one star. However, the instructions showed us screwing the doors with hinges attached to the assembled body, and one of our doors came with the hinges off and instead attached to the body. This was an absolute NIGHTMARE to try and put together, as there aren't pilot holes on the doors, but there are on the body. I had to call my husband in for help and he and I were barely able to get that damn door on! If it weren't for the damage, and the improper assembly, I would absolutely recommend this, but as it stands. my arm is cramping and I half wish I hadn't bought this.

Die Qualität ist leider sehr schlecht. An der einen Tür sind Kratzer und der obere Abschluss hat einen Sprung. Da das jetzt der dritte Versuch war, habe ich beschlossen den Brotkasten trotzdem zu behalten, da ein erneuter Versand aus den USA keine Garantie für eine fehlerfreie Ware ist. Leider wurde auch kein Preisnachlass gewährt. Bei der ersten Zustellung war ein Riesensprung im oberen Abschluss, beim zweiten Mal wurde mir der Brotkasten in schwarz geliefert, obwohl weiß bestellt.
