I got this double-sided 3M type to fix the light on the kayak that keeps coming off. I haven't got to use it on the kayak yet due to temperatures being too cold where I live but can't right for it to warm up so I can use it. I have no doubt that when I place the light on the kayak with the double sided 3m type it will stay, and it gets wet will not cause the bond to weaken. I have used the type on other things, and it is very sticky, and creates a great bond. The description states that it is easy to remove, but you will definitely have to have a knife to remove it after you have used it. I do not think that I would want to use it on a painted wall if I was not 100 percent for sure that I would not rearrange the item that I used it on later. This is the best 3M double sided type by far, and I highly recommend it.

I used this double sided tape to hang up some small square mirrors that used to keep falling off the wall. With this tape, I never have to worry about that again. I like that it has just the right amount of thickness to be durable while also not being too visible from the side.

Very sticky take. Pay attention to their schedule of adhesion. It should be loaded full after 72 hours so that it has max adhesion. It cuts easily and the backing peels off easily. I have not seen any evidence of failure on the several items I have mounted with this tape.

I like this mounting tape because it comes in a large roll, so you get a significant portion of it to use for different items. I also like that you can cut it to however much dimension you need for the particular project you’re doing. The outside of the role is sticky though, so I wish there were some paper that was on the outside to keep it from sticking to your hand. It’s easy to cut once you measure it out. And it’s pretty sturdy which is nice. It is also a thick tape that gives a good hold.

I got tired of the sensors for our alarm system falling off the walls and windows while we're away and setting off the alarm so I decided to try something a lot more robust. This tape is super heavy duty with some really great adhesion. It's definitely overkill for the sensors themselves but I know they aren't going anywhere any time soon. Since I have it I've been finding all sorts of uses for it. It's also great for toddlerproofing our house by mounting lamps to tables and all sorts of other applications. I'm very impressed with this stuff and would definitely recommend it.

I use this for all sorts of bonding tasks where using glue isn't feasible because of curing time or possible mess. It's really easy to work with. I apply it where I want it and squeegee it down, then peel the tape and firmly attach whatever I happen to be fixing. This also makes a great semi permanent gasket. I've used it outdoors, and the rain has not weakened it al all. It does remove easier than you would think bit stays in place otherwise.

This is true 3M tape, just sold thru an online Amazon reseller. I needed to replace some automotive trim pieces which requires wider tape, so I obtained the 1 inch version. As always, make sure the surface is clean and the temperature isn't too cold for adhesion.
