for reference pre-pregnancy I was 140 lb standing at 5 foot 6. My waistline is 28 in and at the widest part of my hips I am a 38. I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with a small bump relative to the average bump size. I got a large because I wanted it to be less clingy and it fit great! It definitely will not fit once I'm not pregnant so I will be ordering a medium or small afterwards! I got the mocha colored one and it is not see-through and it is so soft. It looks like a really nice fabric. Maybe it's because I got it in large that I didn't have the see-through problem like some people do. I do not think the fabric is very forgiving. It will show cellulite and rolls. But I think that you can get your size or sized up and still be okay!

The first two skirts, from two different companies names on Amazon (but Doublju) were of the same cut and labeled size. (One was still tighter though both were a 2x). I did not have to wear a slip with them because they were stretchy and thick. I ordered one size larger so the skirt would not be as skin tight. It seems to have less stretch and is not any larger. The fabric content on the first: 95% polyester, and 5% polyurethane. Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low heat. Made by Doublju" and designed in the US but made in China. Disappointment, I oreder "Made by Johnny" and the quality is not as good as from this company. The fabric content from Johnny seems to be cheaper. 95% rayon, 5% span, and it says to machine wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry. Dry clean if needed. It is now shear and I have to wear a slip with it to keep my underwear from showing. "Made by Johnny," in USA.

The skirt is cute and very stretchy. It is surprisingly comfortable to wear. However, it is VERY see through. It is also tight enough that you can't easily wear a slip under it, so for me (I'm pretty modest, which is why I bought a long skirt) the only way I can wear it is with tights or leggings under it. :(

Great deal for the price and true to size. I actually could have gotten a Large instead of an XL, but I went off other’s reviews of it running small. It’s stretchy, breathable and very comfortable, especially to accommodate a growing belly. I hope I can wear it postpartum as well. It is a thin material, not sheer, but thin to where you’ll be able to see certain panty lines. I would purchase again and in other colors if available.I am 6 feet tall and normally 190 lbs, in this photo I was probably about 215.

fabric is very thin, the ruching is done weirdly, and the length is awkward without any alterations. worked for the costume but not without some edits.

First of all ... I've NEVER written a review in my life! That's how impressed I am with this skirt. I am 6'0" and fairly slim. I have the hardest time finding anything that is a true midi length. I bought this skirt to wear with my keds, a tee, and a light jacket (you know the style I'm talking about). I tried the skirt on and it was LONGER than what I was praying for! You guys, this skirt fell to the perfect length. It is stretchy and very comfortable with an elastic style waistband. It is very flattering to my shape. I bought the olive green and black and have already gone back and purchased more! If you're on the fence about this skirt ... don't be!
