This scraper works great to manage my sour dough. I also use it to help clean up dough surfaces so the drain pipes won't be filled with dough that can turn cement like and clog the pipes.

While these scrapers are a little small to use in shaping my sourdough loaf, but they are great for scraping the sides of the mixing bowl, as they will bend and conform to the side of the bowl. I also used one to scrape down the side of my sourdough starter after feeding. This gets all the stuff off the side of the container and back down into the starter. A pack of 5 is a bunch, as I don't think they will wear out anytime soon.

I love these dough knives. I kept two for myself and then shared one each to each of my daughters who love making bread. They are nice and sharp and scrape the metal bowl well. Highly recommend.

Just another tool for us sourdough bakers to make our lives easier. Good quality and is nicely designed for scraping. I like that they are embossed and that they are BPA free. That is sooooo important these days. The price is right and the products is true to it's description. Enjoy!

These dough scrapers are excellent before they crack and break apart. For the couple of months they work, they fit a Kitchenaid 5qt mixer bowl perfectly so you can scrape out all of your bread dough. They also have nice edges that allow you to portion your dough. Being plastic, they aren't really good at bench scraping though. For bench scraping, IMO, you need a metal scraper. They tend to crack in the middle and eventually split in half. They're inexpensive, so as long as you understand that they are an expendable "throw-away" BEFORE you purchase, they are worth purchasing and re-purchasing. For reference...I still have, and use, a 25 year old plastic dough scraper from a certain flour company whose logo was a middle ages king. It hasn't cracked yet.
