This dovetail plate has allowed me to get both my Takahashi telescopes onto my mounts. It fits both the 95mm clamshell ring for my FC-100DC and the saddle that came with my Mewlon 180c. The Mewlon has an odd shaped dovetail that is not a good fit for my iOptron AZ Mount Pro. This dovetail adapter allows me to mount my Mewlon securely without making any modifications to my favorite planetary ‘scope.

Just received this new dovetail plate from Farpoint and it arrived in less than satisfactory condition. It should never have made it past quality control. It arrived with scuffs and scratches on it. Will not affect performance however it was supposed to be new and it certainly doesn't look new. No signs of scuffs or scratches on the bottom side mounting surface so I now it is not a return but it has numerous production blemishes. I don't wish to go through a return thus I will live with it but I feel Farpoint fails at quality control.
