I bought this for our garage windows, gives privacy but all lets in plenty of light. Was easy to put on the window and I really like that it doesn’t use adhesive. We have had it up for about 6 months and it is still secure on the window. And when the sun shines through it has a really cool rainbow effect.

As other reviews state, this film is pretty sheer.I live in a basement apartment. My windows are part of the walkway people use to get to their apartment. There is a concrete wall facing my apartment as well. There are also no ceiling lights in any of the bedrooms. So, there is no privacy if I open my blinds to let in light, and it can be very, very dark during the day.I wanted something that would allow me to feel comfortable leaving my windows open during the day but wouldn't block the much-needed sunlight.I knew this was on the sheer side, but that works great for my needs.The film is forgiving and easy to apply. I had to adjust it a few times, and it didn't compromise the film's ability to adhere to my windows, which is a major plus.I've used other window films, and this one is definitely the easiest to apply.It is easiest to apply window film with a spray bottle and those little squeegee tools, but I just applied this film by getting my window wet, lining the film up, and using a credit card to smooth it out. If you get only one tool when you apply this film, I recommend getting an exacto knife.I only got enough for my bedroom window to test it out and see if I wanted to get more. I'll be getting more for the rest of my windows.I've checked my windows from the outside to see how much privacy I'm getting. It blurs/distorts the room slightly. Just enough to work, clean, or be in my room without feeling exposed. That said, I probably wouldn't dress with my windows open. These definitely don't offer enough privacy for that.If privacy isn't your concern, this film is also a fun decor item. I love getting more light in my bedroom and the fun rainbows the film casts all over my room.I've had this film for a few months, and it's held up great. I've seen no peeling or any other issues.

This is exactly what I wanted. The quality was surprisingly great for the price I love the rainbow effect, it looks great. I was surprised how thick it was. I will get it again for other windows.

This is my second time buying this cos I love it. it gives me privacy during the day and it lets in beautiful colours in. It was super easy to install and it sticks well (but both times for me there is always a corner that doesnt want to stick, not sure if its from where I was grabbing it, or what.) MAKE SURE YOUR WINDOW IS CLEAN!Also, I noticed that at night, you can see through the window (like pixelated, but clearly can see whats going on without the details) just beware.

Great for inside windows that have a birdhouse on the outside of the window and you want to view birds without startling them! Also great if you have an in-home office and need privacy!Easy to use.

film efficace en terme de brise vue, tout en laissant passer une jolie luminosité. j'ai entendu des passants s'arrêter devant mes fenêtres et se demander si elles étaient ciselées, l'effet est donc très réussi. la pose n'est pas difficile, je me suis aidée d'un sèche cheveux lorsque les coins ne voulaient pas adhérer, ça a très bien marché et depuis que c'est en place, rien ne se décolle.

My windows look very beautiful now. Love the rainbow effect, easy to install. Needed lots of water for that but after some time, it sticks well. Only problem is that I am not sure if the inside of the home can be visible from outside when there is light inside. You can still see a distorted shadow for sure.

This is a great product! Very useful if you’re renting and need to create a private space! Very beautiful and when the sunshine’s little rainbows shin through which is lovely!So easy to assemble as well!

I wanted something like this for my window because I'm facing a large, grey building and it's a very depressing view. I was also looking for something to lessen the intensity of the sun, as I'm facing west and therefore have it shining directly into my window and blinding me for a good chunk of the day. This is perfect!My view of the depressing grey building is now obscured and replaced with a nice rainbow shimmer, and for the first time ever I can fully open my blinds and not be blinded by the sun. It isn't quite late enough yet for me to see any rainbows shining around my room, but I am quite excited to see what that looks like when it is. Just the slight rainbow effect on the window is already so pretty.It was easy to install, if a little fiddly while the piece was still oversized as the parts that went further than the glass couldn't be stuck down and pulled at the rest of the piece. Once I got everything in the position I liked, it was easy to trim down the overlapped side and wipe out the bubbles or make other small adjustments. I may yet still need to trim some areas, as I do see a tiny bit of peel back on the bottom, but that's user error.This genuinely makes me so happy, and I'm glad I got it. I'll update if I do end up having issues with it.
