The filters came in a none protective bag and were bent. I was able to straighten them enough to fit properly. They are not as sturdy as the original filters but work adequately

Unaware that a blob of something sticky had jumped out of a pot into the vent, and glued the bottom of the filter to the range, I lifted the filter by the little loop at the top. (It wasn’t stuck like superglue; more like chewing gum.) The entire top frame of the filter ripped away from the rest of the filter. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised that it ripped like cheap aluminum foil since it’s made of cheap aluminum foil.

Glad that I found this as a replacement filter for an older Jenn Aire down draft stove that we've owned and used since 1995. I ordered a double set so that I have a spare when it come time to changeout the first one.
