They handle 10lb downriggers weights on electric cannon downriggers with no issues ,will be swithing to 15 lb weights and they should handle the weight just fine,these are used to eliminate shock to the downrigger and the gunnels from an immediate stop at the surface of the water

Looks to be of good quality . There is the right amount of elasticity that the cannonball wont be bouncing wildly in wavy conditions or stretch too much when trying to lift ball into boat .
