I’ve purchased several pairs of left handed grooming shears and get sent right handed shears. But these ones are actually left handed and work great!

I groom my own dogs, so it's important to have nice scissors. Just like knives, dull scissors make more work and can cause problems. This set is sharp and cut well. No hair pulling, just a clean cut. The curved shape makes doing faces and legs a lot easier. There is a screw in the center that holds the two blades together that can be adjusted to make tighter or looser dependent on your needs. Mine came already adjusted to my liking, but as you use them over time you will want to make small adjustment to them, so it's nice to have that ability. Dogs can be jumpy/ fidgety when being groomed, so it's nice to have the rounded blunt tips to prevent any accidental poke to the eye or skin.I like that they can be used for left or right handed cutting because my daughter is a lefty and now she has no excuse for not helping groom the dogs.I like them.

I really like the rounded tips because none of my animals will be still while I'm trimming them. They are very sharp and I was able to trim my long haired cats paws quickly before she moved. I think these will work great when she gets mats in her fur.

These curved scissors are perfect for trimming our cocker spaniel. I had 5" shears, but these 7" grooming scissors are more appropriate as she has large curves like around her ear flaps and haunches. These will make the job of grooming much easier.

Don't cut well at all. They are horrible. Ripped off
