Absolutely perfect product! It traps long hair, which for my family is the cause of drain backup for us..but no longer! It sits on top of pop up drain, not very high, allowing easy use of the drain stopper without having to remove this trap. Doesn't affect water flow to drain, at least for me and a near 40 year old bathtub. I do rinse off and remove the hair after each shower by simply turning the tub water spigot on full which blasts the hair off of this making it easy to collect, and you don't have to fully lift it off the drain itself to do it. Super easy. Even so, it still works and drains water should you feel lazy and let it get a little hairy..it has plenty of drain holes which continue to work. Has a nice weighted metal ring built in too such that it won't float away or move off of drain. It's all around terrific and wish I bought this ages ago.

This works great to catch my long hair and it stays in place. I don't think any of these things can catch every single hair but it's definitely made a huge difference and I don't need to snake the drain nearly as often.Yes it gets mildew but a quick soak in white vinegar and water easily gets rid of that. Just don't put the metal ring in vinegar. I did and it removed the finish and made the ring unusable so I had to buy a new one lol

This fits over our push drain stopper thing perfectly! There’s no suction but it is weighted enough so the water doesn’t push it around. After a few months of use I have noticed that it does a better job of catching the hair than those standard flower shaped traps that fit into the drain. I have had no clogs or issues of any kind. Some reviews stated that this is difficult to clean but what hair trap is easy to clean? I find that this isn’t too bad and since it’s grey there’s no visible discoloration.

This was sturdy and got the job done but it’s a pain to clean and kind of gross. The water flowed fine and I didn’t have any problems with that

Catches 99% of the hair. I was skeptical at first I thought it would get bumped and miss the hole completely. But there is a metal ring inside for weight to keep it in place. Easy to clean and works great with or without plunger type stopper. Only wish it came in other colors.

I had my bathroom redone and the new tub had a larger drain that you push down to pop it open and closed. New to me! So I needed to find a drain cover that would fit this larger size while being efficient. I went through a few different kinds and then I found this one. It’s perfect. It stays in place, looks nice and most importantly, does what it suppose to do. I’ll be purchasing another for my other bathtub.I highly recommend this!

Works well. It’s decently weighted so it doesn’t move. Easy to remove hair from it and easy to clean. Can also toss it into the dishwasher when needed.
