I usually wear an 8 1/2 W, and these sandals fit perfectly for my wide feet. I wore them all day, and got no soreness or blisters that happens sometimes with new shoes. I like the Gladiator style, and the gold color goes with everything.

The sandals are made well, and I have a wide foot BUT these sandals are made for extra, extra wide feet. These sandals were way too wide for my wide feet. My feet wobble around in these shoes. If you have super wide feet then these sandals will fit like a charm. If you get swollen feet during the day then these sandals can certainly accommodate with these very wide sandals. I normally wear a wide shoe with no issues but these sandals are way, way too wide for my liking.

I absolutely love this brand and have bought so many different styles from them over the years. They never disappoint.I’ll be honest that I totally forgot about “gladiator sandals†until I came upon this listing—don’t ask me how, I used to literally live in these things from like April-October. I have a 3yo, and this will be the fourth summer I’ve tried to find a “mom sandal†(read: something without a heel and that won’t fly off and/or send me bum over tea kettle when I have to chase her), but that are stylish and not something I’d see my grandmother wearing. I of course LOVE my grandma! But dressing like someone in their 70s when I’m only 35 just hits me in all the wrong feels. Gladiator sandals—especially these ones—check all the aforementioned boxes.Note that this brand does tend to run a little big, but these seem to be fairly true to size. Now, they look MASSIVE when they aren’t on my foot. I even held one up to my forearm (in case you don’t know, your foot is the exact length of the inside of your arm from your wrist to your elbow—try it if you don’t believe me!), and it extended about an inch past my elbow onto my bicep. But somehow, they fit pretty perfectly. I do get a bit of movement and “scrunch†around my heel when I walk, but I think if I just tighten the ankle straps one notch, it’ll fix that.Speaking of the ankle straps—I love that these actually have functional/adjustable ankle straps, rather than strictly decorative ones like other shoes I’ve owned in the past. Theoretically, one could use either the ankle straps or the zipper to put these on/off, and if there were only one instead of two I would actually suggest doing so. The zipper has a flap of “suede†behind it to protect your foot from rubbing on the zipper, but mine kept getting stuck in the zipper. It’s hard enough to fix that issue on like a purse where you can get traction and put some oomph into it. But when it’s on your foot and you’re already bent in half trying to unzip it, it’s nearly impossible. I was super thankful that I hadn’t tightened the ankle straps yet because I ended up just forcing my foot out while the zipper was only halfway down. It’s easy enough to prevent (just make sure you fix it before/as you unzip), if you’re aware it may happen.Other than the zipper though, I love these shoes! They’re super comfortable to walk in—they don’t have a *ton* of padding, but it doesn’t feel like walking on a piece of wood. I’m sure I will get a TON of use out of these this summer!
