Kind of difficult to use if you are using it correctly. We just have one tight loop and one lose loop to make it easier to get into our pantry. The kids haven't figured it out yet. However, this method will lead to the plastic snapping over time. We have selince replaced it, but with the same product

I got these because they resembled a discontinued similar product that worked very well to keep my toddlers out of the cabinets. As they are, I would not recommend them to parents of small children.Pros:They are easy to use as directed, and the fake button will deter younger babies trying to get into a cabinet. It will even confuse adults.Cons:If you have a more determined toddler or baby, the zip ties do not catch very well, and if you yank hard enough, they will come free, defeating the point of these cabinet locks. A competitor's product I've had in the past had thicker ties and a sturdier design in general that prevented this.Another major problem with this type of lock is that it does not completely close the cabinet. A child (with their little baby arms), can still reach into the crack and grab whatever they want.For the sake of your children, do NOT use these to store household chemicals or medications.A suitable use may be for a cabinet with pots and pans, or a spare toy cabinet.All in all, I will not be buying these locks again because of major design flaws and skimpy manufacturing.

Great for our need รขโฌยฆ however the one side broke because the plastic used is quite brittle. Good thing itรขโฌโขs a two pack but letรขโฌโขs see how long the other one lasts?
