This is just what I needed! Its small, easily portable, has lots of different sounds to choose from including nature sounds, multiple white noise options, and several lullabies. You can just turn it on and off or can set a timer for either 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Volume is adjustable too. You plug it in to charge and the charge lasts a long time! I use it an average of 4 hours a day between nap and bedtime music for my daughter and I can go at least a week or two before I need to charge it again. I also love how small and portable it is, makes it easy to bring along when traveling. It has a little ring hook you can use to hang it or attach to something of you wanted. Great price point too! Easy way to play a variety of soothing sounds for baby without hooking up to wifi or having to have it right by an outlet to be continuously plugged in.

I wanted a small travel sound machine when I stay in hotels or at friends. I can use my iphone, but find it drains the battery or seems warm. This lasted over 20 hours on one charge. I really like the lock button too for when I fly, so it does not go off in my luggage and make noise. There are some good sounds and volume adjustment options too.

I enjoy the variety of noises to pick from! Easy to use and it lasts long enough for me to fall asleep! It also isn't very big which allows for it to fit well anywhere. Functions well and can go through the different noises pretty quickly. The rain noise is soothing. Great value for this product!

I purchased three of these, one for every bedroom in the house. The sound options and levels are good. The sounds include various white noise options, songs and nature noises. It’s small and easy to move and travel with it. The speaker comes with a ring that hooks easily to a bed rail. The battery lasted 2 nights when we first purchased the items, but after a few months of use, one of the three only lasts one night. We have also heard odd sounds layered in the loop when we’ve been awake at night. It can be a little distracting when trying to go back to sleep.

This small, compact sound machine is perfect for travel! My husband and I don’t fall asleep/stay asleep well in a silent hotel room. And we also hate being woken up by people slamming doors/talking in the hallways. This is perfect to have with you in a hotel to help drown out outside noises and sleep well through the night. It has SEVERAL different types of white noise, nature noise, baby noises but we like the thunderstorm setting best. It’s very easy to use, charge lasts several nights and it hardly takes up any space - highly recommend!

My baby would not sleep without this. I love that it's pink and rechargeable! It has several sounds and volumes and helps get my baby to sleep and stay asleep. Would highly recommend. Functionality, quality and sound is great!

If you're on the fence about getting this, just do it. There's a ton of pros and some cons, but in short, this blows the Hatch out of the water (unless you need lights or bluetooth control...which we don't).Pros:- Great sound quality (my biggest hesitation ordering this was another review saying the sound was not crisp). Compared to the Hatch this was comparable if not better fidelity sounds. It did not feel like these were cheap or tinny recordings.- Hard to find a machine that has both the shh noise (this was basically an instant sleep sound for our baby) AND white noise tracks that our baby is accustomed to. The shh noise instantly puts our kid to sleep. Proof is in the pudding.- Great battery life. 1800 mah battery capacity is great. Hatch isn't even portable. We haven't yet maxed out it's capacity but it will run at least a few hours on a single charge and it gives you options to limit time to 30, 60, 90 minutes. With the timer it doesn't abruptly shut off the sound but it fades it to silent which I thought was fantastic.- Incredibly portable, small form factor. We are using it to replace our main Hatch sleep machine since we don't need the Hatch night light or it's pathetically small array of sounds, AND will buy a second one to use when we're on the go.- Minor - but when you turn it off and turn it on it plays the last sound you had it on. Really useful when you need the sound immediately to soothe a fussy baby. Very thoughtful!Cons:- For god's sake please put lights on the buttons. There are like 7 buttons that all look and feel exactly the same. Even in daylight the on/off button looks exactly like the timer button. Please find a way to light the buttons esp. when fumbling with it in the dark as many parents do when trying to get their kid to sleep. At the very least a more distinct on/off button.- While it takes USB-C cables to charge, it apparently does not let you use any USB C charging cable. Higher capacity cables (like a mac charging usb c cable) does not charge it. I have another small electronic device ( a portable fan) that has a rechargeable battery and it can take any USB C cable including fast charging. Wonder why this one cannot.- The plastic ring it comes with is flimsy, and opens easily. Needs a better clasp - maybe a carabiner. Big hazard if it is hanging from somewhere (not because it could hurt someone, because you shouldn't hang it near a baby) but also because the sound could wake kids up. The string it comes with is an actual shoelace which I thought was funny.Not a con, but wishful thinking:- It would be cool if the egg could also charge other devices as a powerbank since it does have a decent battery. Just wishful thinking from a parent trying to consolidate as many devices as possible.

We purchased this sound machine for our baby who loves vaccum noise specifically and it works amazing. Very satisfied with it and it's such a nice colour (we got blue)Favorite features:Lock button so when your handling it you don't accidentally hit another sound options and wake your babyNight light/ glow in the dark buttons- makes it easier to tell where volume button and power is.Little ring that snaps open and closed so you can attach it to anywhereSo many sound options and my baby also likes the "SHHHH" sound.Lasts 22 hours like they say! And when it's dieing it just slowly decreases the sound.Still works while chargingGood sizeGoes quite loudNot to big and not heavy at allCons:Only cons are the little ring to attach to things isn't easy to open/has limitations. That could be improved and the string it comes with I didn't bother with, it's cheap.Second con is it does make a high pitched noise when you've maxed out the volume and that wakes the baby.Finally this is a neutral point, it does take a bit of time to charge so just be mindful of that if you use it all night long! You don't want it cutting out in the middle of any sleep!

I bought it specially for the ahhh sound because I saw it in some of the reviews here. The reviews must have been mixed up cos there is no shhh sound. Too lazy to return. Other sounds doesn't work so well on my baby.
