I had ordered the cheaper cutting wheels and was extremely disappointed. Went back to Dremel brand and never looked back. These are fragile at best but the Dremel brand hold up better than others.

Pretty standard cut off wheels. Last like all wheels do. Come in very handy at times. I always have some on hand. Just used on today matter of fact.

So... I had to get this in case an under-the-sink basin wrench couldn't get the job done. It was actually my back-up plan. I could have saved a lot of money by NOT buying the wrench and just making it my initial plan. This easily cut through a faucet bolt with plenty of disc to spare. These hold up well, and cut easily on high RPM. I had two quick jobs and didn't even have to fully use one disc. The value alone in that is beyond 5 stars. I highly recommend for small metal-cutting jobs!

The product description says "This wheel makes it easy to cut bolts and screws"I have used these wheels to cut things such as copper water pipe, large gauge electric cables, and small(1/4") mild steel bolts.While it is true you can cut small bolts and screws with these disks it is a long way from being "easy".Once you start the cut you have to be very careful to stay in the your original cut angle. If you veer too from the initial cut angle the cut-off wheel will shatter into a thousand flying pieces. So if you are going to use them to cut bolts you'll need a steady hand and no matter what you cut with these wheels make sure you wear safety glasses!

I used these disks to cut out nails from the back of hardwood. They wear down quickly, but they allowed me to salvage a lot of previously nailed, but otherwise unblemished wood.
