When even the small 3-inch angle grinder is too big and a mini hacksaw won't get the job done it's time for the Dremel to come from its case to accomplish the cutting task.The EX506HP 1.5-inch metal cutting wheel, although a little pricey, cuts through most metals with ease. When other power tools are too large to get into that tight space this cutting disk does what's needed.Thick enough to keep its shape while thin enough for precise cutting. This is your real solution to abrasive cut off wheels. I recently put cbn wheels on a bench grinder and omg they cut so much better. Not cheap, i think more exp that diamond tools. But they cut metal far better than diamonds. The only thing that compares to cbn, is 3m cubitron3. Those are also FN exp for grinding wheels.Just dont drop your tool with this wheel since its so exp.This has made my rotary tool my goto for small metal cutting. Before id try to use my 3in cutoff or a grinder.

Works great on steel and brass although the metal does get hotter than with the standard EZ-Lock wheels. It will cut aluminum, but it's slower than the fiber wheels.This is not a fiber wheel; it's made from steel with a diamond grit on the outer edge, so it won't wear down like the fiber wheels do.

i had to use this blade to cut a cast iron block on my dodge, and it cut through it like it was nothing, these blades got the job done 4x as fast as the other blades I was using. Cut like butter, very good

I tried this on brass, and on copper pipe, and after a long while it cuts a shallow groove. Using a hacksaw is quicker and easier. I don't know what this would be useful for, it certainly doesn't work as advertised.

Used to cut the inner race of a bearing off of a wheel hub. very durable and still reuseable.
