All humidifiers work best and are least trouble prone if distilled water is used. But a gallon of distilled water costs about $1.25 or so. Hence a month's supply (about 30 gallons) costs nearly $40. These cartridges, while seemingly expensive at roughly $6 each, last one month, and allow you to use tap water in your humidifier. So using them saves you well over $30 each month! They fit my Dreo 4L humidifier perfectly and are trivial to install. Highly recommended!

These are excellent with the Dreo Humidifier. It’s a must have. They don’t last that long to be honest.100 hours of use

We purchased two Dreo Humidifiers along with the Demineralization Cartridges. Glad we did! Hubby has a special filter he uses when he adds/changes the water in our hot tub. He is now filtering a couple of gallons of water to be used with the humidifiers. That filtered water along with the cartridges has made the humidifiers work fantascially. Weekly cleaning of the humidifers is a breeze. No build up; no "gunk". The humidifiers are just as fresh and new as when we purchased them. Will continue to use these cartridges. Excellent purchase!

These are advertised specifically to "eliminate white dust". Simply stated, they do not. I made sure the filter was securely seated, used the device one week. There is white dust everywhere. I have asthma and it actually made it more difficult to breathe. Returned both these filters and the humidifier. Bought both specifically to eliminate the white dust problem (as they advertised). They don't eliminate white dust. Might as well had an open water flow for all the good these did.

I use this on an HM311 humidifier, and so far it has eliminated all the white mineral dust you typically get from an ultrasonic humidifier. So far, the filter is going strong after 6 weeks, and I suspect it will last until we're done needing humidification at the end of March. We have city water with fairly low mineral content.

These fit my Dreo humidifier perfectly. And they seem to work well without impeding water flow too much. Time will tell how much whiten dust they end up preventing.
