The dress I chose to wear for an outdoor wedding was very flowy with a pretty significant slit up the front. With the event being outdoors, dancing, and the nature of the dress, I was worried about being covered. Friends have been using these Dress Downs, and I've been seeing a lot of videos and pictures on Instagram so I ordered them.I was really surprised at the weight itself, they're really flexible and not clunky or heavy. The backing was SUPER sticky, and I didn't have a problem with them staying on the dress.I used two, one on each side of the front slit. You couldn't see them, couldn't tell they were there at all. The dress stayed down and I forgot all about them. They were easy to remove at the end of the night (ok... the next morning. I couldn't be bothered with them that late).Definitely a great product. A simple addition for piece of mind!

These work great the first time you use them. I only needed to use two on a rather windy day.I used on on each side seam. I found it most comfortable to place them a little higher up-finger tip length, rather than all the way at the bottom where they smack into your legs. The reason for only 4 stars is because I was only able to get one use of out them. The 2nd time I used them they were not nearly as sticky, and I lost one while out.I stored them properly with the original backings put back on them. And of courseI removed them prior to washing.PS- Seller is very good and send me replacements for the ones I lost!

**update** after three uses each they are basically unusable. They fell off so much, I only have one left because they would fall off my dress was I walked. I need a more permanent solution. I'm thinking sewing drapery weights in the hems now. very first time using these straight out of the package works flawlessly. However, the second time you use them, and then on, they aren't nearly as sticky and can fall off. You do need to clean them in between uses to get the lint off of the adhesive and ensure the best stick possible, but it just isn't as great as the very first use. That being said, though, I find these work best with softer fabrics like gotten, linen, and wool. Sleeker fabrics like nylon and polyester don't like to grip as well to these and that's when I find they will fall off most often.

After the royal wedding, I was reading about how royals are always super careful to avoid wardrobe malfunctions- going so far as to put weights in the hems of their dresses. I thought- I should try that! I have some skirts that I love but that have too many near Marilyn Monroe moments. I found these sticky weights and they are great. I slipped one in the hem of a silk skirt and no longer did I have to walk with my hand on my leg to guard against a sudden breeze. No one would ever notice it's there since they're not heavy enough to drag your dress or skirt down. Definitely worth having for your flippy summer dresses and skirts.

I really wanted these to work for me. First time I bought them, I bought the white ones and they lasted for 2 to 3 uses before they no longer sticks and I ended up using double-sided tape to stick them on. They all fell off the dress though during my commute after another 2 uses and I lost them all. I needed more and I decided to give this another chance. This time I bought the black ones and boy did they not stay put! I just put on 2 new ones today and they BOTH fell off within 5 minutes after I put them on before going out! This is just not acceptable! These are rather expensive but I would invest in them if they stay on... but it's truly a waste of money if they don't stick. I will not buy these again because I felt like I just wasted $15. DON'T BUY THIS!!! Save your money elsewhere.

I was looking for a way to keep a lightweight dress from flying around and ordered these and immediately before even opening them i could tell they were going to be too heavy. So returning. If you have a heavier weight dress you would probably be fine. Also - if you return, you're going to have to pay for the return. Didn't love that but I guess I should have paid attention when I ordered because its probably listed somewhere..

Finally had a chance to use these and I LOVE them! Only needed to put on two of them and they worked great. I thought they might be heavy and pull on my skirt but they didn't. I even had to check to make sure they were still there! But when I moved I felt like my skirt wouldn't twirl up and then when I went outside it stayed right where it should in the wind. And the fact that I can use them over and over is well worth the money. I plan on taking them with me on my cruise this summer and I know I won't have to worry about flashing everyone - Yay me!!

So I’ve been saying for ages that someone should invent these, and then I googled and found out that they had. After checking reviews I saw this product’s complaints seemed to be that it stretched clothing out and was big & unsightly even under clothes. Neither seemed like a huge problem for me in light of everything else. Besides, bigger ought to mean heavier, right?*BUZZZ!* NOPE.These are fairly big, for sure… but they are just bits of lightweight rubber as far as I can tell?? I’m still having to safety pin tops to tights to hold them down. Not just useless, but EXPENSIVE useless. The worst kind of useless.

Disappointing. They stayed on for a few hours (eg: 6-8). They aren't heavy enough to keep a skirt down, and the adhesive is no longer sticky after the first use. Great idea, but they just don't do what they are suppose to do. They are just thick rubber.

Bought this item because I had to wear a terrible poylster bridesmaids dress in a wedding. The dress puffed out and gave me no shape and made me look like I was wearing a paper bag, BUT THEN I STUCK ONLY TWO dress weight to the right and left side of my dress and instantly saved the entire outfit. Would highly reccomend, and they stayed on all day!!!

These didn't work at all! I tried them on 3 different dresses made of 3 different materials and all the dress skirts still bunched up while walking or flew up in the slightest breeze. Also they didn't adhere very well to any of the dresses and moved about. One even fell off when I went to the bathroom! It's too bad. It's a great concept but just doesn't work.
