Note:
When removing an old spout, you will need to place a piece of wood (such as a hammer handle) in the spout and turn it counterclockwise.
And please do not crush the copper pipe during the installation.
To ensure the proper performance of the PTFE tape, it is recommended to wrap the tape more than 6 times, regardless of the thickness of the tape.
Small parts included, please keep them away from little kids to avoid swallowing risk.

This is a good replacement item. Universal parts made it easy to install. It does a great job diverting the water to the shower head. I don't know how long it will last .

This tub spout is a hassle to install and leaks. The foam gasket is useless, and the overall quality is subpar.

For the past few years we have been having trouble with our tub. I have repeatedly replaced the spigot but it's always been with the one that came with the house.When it started acting up again I went on to Amazon to order one to replace once again. FIY the other one never came from Amazon they came from The Big box hardware stores.Right out of the box you could tell this design was a hundred times better than the original. I don't know how engineers make something better especially something like this that's been around my entire life time.The other ones rely on you to set everything up and then take the grub screw and thread it hard enough to hold it in place against the copper pipe. I knew that's where my problems were but it's a difficult repair not impossible I could have easily done it but it's difficult.This comes with a piece that the best way I can describe it is that it looks like a flat nut that you would screw into a bolt. What you do is you slide that over the copper pipe and then you put the rub screw in and it's nowhere near what we've been using for the past 20 years. Then there's other pieces that get attached. This is something that blew my mind that no other one of these ever came with this particular part. The beauty ring has a gasket behind it to help the stop water from getting behind your tub. You can still use silicone around the beauty ring but quite honestly I don't think you would ever need it. This holds so well that when you turn the water off you actually have to put the plunger on top of the faucet to release the water that goes to the shower head. I have never seen that. 99% of them leaks so bad that it comes down on its own.The fat the performance and for the small amount of money that this cost me is worth its weight and gold. Good quality parts make a big difference.

Replaced the tub spout on a bathtub at my apartments and this was a pretty painless install. Since my pipes have the threaded end I just unscrewed the old one and screwed in this one. I did use the included cover ring since my spout stuck out a bit so that was a really nice addition to the package.

Made of relatively thin metal.Easy to install, has all connectors and adapters you might need.Main thing, when switched to shower, the valve in the spout slightly leaking.

. . . Lets fix the tub! A great spout repkacement kit. Easy to jnstall and all the parts are included. Get rid of the drips and the gurgle when the old one doesn’t flip frim shower to tub! Quality made, nice vhrkme finish, and the overall appearance is nice with the extra flange to against the tile. Can’t wait to have the time to install it LoL! Good value for the money, look at all that comes in the kit!

The tub spout doesn't fit securely and leaks constantly. The included adapters are poorly made. Not recommended.
