Your cart is empty.A Round Adjustable Die is desired for improved wear life. Round Dies are chamfered on both faces. One side has a 2 to 3 thread chamfer for threading, the other side has a 1 to 1-1/2 thread chamfer for threading close to a shoulder. Adjustment is obtained by a fine pitch screw which forces the sides of the die apart, or allows them to spring together. The slot is beveled so that when the dies are used in a machine holder the adjusting screw can be removed and adjustment made by the adjusting screws in the holder

I bought a slightly used house and the prior owner had nearly destroyed the hose bib threads, this die cleaned them up very well

The edges of the cut through the side of the die are very sharp. Die is well made. I cut some brass pipe and it works great.

Got it to clean up the mess aluminum connectors leave behind on hose bibs. Its way too loose. Adjustment screw doesn't help. Seems too hard to crush in a vice without it snapping. I waited to long to return it so I guess I will try heating it red hot with a torch to try to close it up some before I give up and toss it.

Using it to clean corrosion and very hard water deposits on hose faucets at camp grounds. Many times they are no longer usable and you can't put a hose them until the threads are cleaned up. This cutting die solves that problem
