Your cart is empty.Drill America DWRRTPS series Qualtech High-Speed Steel taper pin reamer. This tapered reamer turns a straight hole into a tapered hole into which standard taper pins will fit. The straight-flute reamers are generally used by hand while the helical-flute is designed for machine use. The square on the shanks of the straight fluted are suitable for holding in a tap wrench or vise. The spiral flute taper pin reamer is recommended for applications where the reamer tends to wedge itself. 0.0611-inches short end and 0.0806-inches large end.

use out to ream out watch dials to fit other movements. cuts clean and fits in starrett holder.

This bit worked perfectly paired with a No.31 drill bit. I have only used it a few times so I cannot comment on its longevity but for light use it worked perfectly.

Pretty good for the money, i used it for a dozen of taper pins and is still in good shape, yet you can have better quality but for at least double the price if not more. Very good tool for NON professional and everyday use

The reamer that I received has only 4 flutes, not 6 as pictured. That, however, is the least of my complaints, as I understand that it may be a stock photo of a larger reamer. The item I received is obviously USED and has surface rust all over it. The square shank is marred quite badly. The one pictured is bright, shiny, and is well machined; the item I got is none of those. It looks like something that was pulled out of an old tool box.

very rough finish, cutting edge is slightly dull. eventually got the job done.

Flutes are nicely ground and the reamer cut cleanly leaving a perfectly tapered hole in no time. I used a tap handle and manually reamed two pin holes in a couple of minutes.
