I do have a drill with a smallish batt like shown in the listing, but it's an older drill and most of the drills now have the bulbous batt hanging from the end of the grip. Putting that much weight there, while it counterbalances well for holding, it is well out of balance when holstering. As can hopefully be seen from the pics, it drives the bottom inward against the body/leg. You will have to strap the drill in because it will fall out due to movement. However, strapping it in is a negative for easy access to the drill. As a reminder, that is only for a drill as mine shown in my pics. It really sounded good to have a dedicated pouch designed for a drill, rather than putting it in the large nail pouch in my carpenter's bag, but the nail bag still wins on this one. :(

Love this drill holster. It’s heavy-duty, well-constructed and securely holds most drills. The design is practical, with enough space for bits and small tools. Perfect for anyone working on projects and needing quick access to their drill. Highly recommended for durability and functionality!

I bought both the holster and the padded belt to match. The holster is fantastic, it makes doing simple around the house jobs so much easier. I used to use the clip on the drill or impact when on a ladder and it would pull down on my pocket and sometimes fall, but now I feel secure climbing up and down the ladder. It’s built tough, you can feel it’s made to last. The material feels solid and the stitching is strong. I’ve been using it for a few days now and its really held up well. It keeps my drill secure but also makes it easy to grab. The fit on my belt is snug too, no slipping around. Plus, it’s pretty comfortable to wear, doesn’t weigh me down. If you're looking for something reliable, I’d definitely recommend this holster!

This holster is great for my needs. I don’t need a lot of tools with me when I’m on ladders, but I often have my cordless drill, so this is exactly what I need. It fits my Dewalt 20v drill perfectly. It has a clasp to further secure it if needed, and there are plenty of other slots for screwdrivers,bits, wrenches, and other things I may need. One thing I wish it did have was space to hold extra screws, either in a pouch or even just a magnetic block. It’s a small thing, though, for an otherwise perfect item. The material is durable and will hold up to lots of use and last a long time. Great item.

So much better than those clip on hooks, more comfortable to wear and has plenty of room for carrying extra bits. Well made, good design does the job well and it's lightweight, good quality for the price.

This holster could be good for certain drills, but it will not work with mine. I think you need a drill that is very long from the trigger to the chuck. It would probably not hurt to have a smaller lighter battery to eliminate some weight on the outside that wants to pull the drill out of the holster. This could be pretty nice if your drill fits. I gave this 3 stars based on the fact that it seems like a decent product but not for everyone.

This is the first I've seen a cordless drill holster. It makes building those knock-down products smoother, as you aren't always looking for your screwgun.
