These are my favorite spray heads that I have purchased. Others work, but these work best for my needs I ran 1/2" OD tubing through out my gardens and used 1/2x1/2x1/4" connectors, using 1/4" tubing to feed these heads. They cover a diameter of about 2-3', depending on your flow rate from source. Place them strategically in garden, turn them on and let 'em go. I usually water for about 30-45 minutes to ensure a good soaking. They spray low profile, so tops of plants/vegetable foliage do not get soaked.

I have used spot spitters and drip irrigation and they constantly were clogged. The drip line was clogged completely in one season and I had to remove it. That is when I found these guys.After I installed one row of these for my smaller trees, I knew I was going to buy more of them. The spray is adjustable and if you do get a clog, just turn the top to high and it cleans itself instantly.Since they are adjustable, I can set them to around 2-10 gallons an hour. I assume that is the rate as I put one in a 5 gallon bucket once to see how much I was getting.A single hose with decent pressure around 50psi should be able to run about 30-40 of these emitters spraying around a 2 foot diameter. If you ran about 25 it would be about a 3 foot diameter. I run mine at about 8 per row. If you are going to do one long row, either adjust the emitters to a lower spray or put a hose at the beginning and end of the row so you get even water distribution.Either way, great quality product. None have broken in over a year and I am running about 80 of them and some have been wacked by the weedwacker pretty hard.

These were easy to attach to my drip system, and I like the adjustability on these to fine-tune how much water gets to each plant (especially important if you have different varieties on the same line).

The do drip. But even with a standard 1/4 inch hose from the spigot with an adapter they just dripped. Didn't spray a bit like the picture. Product needs a minimum psi of pressure rating to have them work properly. They are stupid cheap, so not complaining on price, just not that effective.....they will drip in place but not go farther than an inch or two for water displacement.

These adjustable spray nozzles work very well. Add that to them being on stakes that hold them upright, makes them easily adjusted to spray a larger area or a small, drip line effect

I unscrewed the heads for max water flow and they work perfectly.
