I’m a doll maker and crafter and use this pen to trace out my pattern pieces. It’s one of those items I use almost every day and I buy them two at a time so I won’t run out. I trace things out then when done sewing, the purple ink magically disappears with the light rub of a cloth. Such a great product.

Easy to write with and mostly disappears within a day, but only if it's left out and not covered. Either way it still down its job and also goes away with a little water.

Product disappears after a few minutes. I learned quickly not to mark too much before sewing because the lines will fade! But I’ve had other brand markers that claim they won’t stain but in actuality they do. Very frustrating. This is a great product.

After more than 24 hours the ink is still fully legible. Water will take it off though.

this disappearing ink pen is the best! I reccomend it to everyone. it's a fine tip marker that disappears after 30ish minutes. it's air soluble, so it disappears with air. but its also water soluble so if you write two dark you can always wash it off. great for embroidery!!

I have been using these kinds of pens for my quilts for years. Some that I have bought disappear in a couple of days and others you use water and it takes the blue off of the fabric. This is one that disappears in a couple of days. The reason I buy so many is that you can use it to mark your designs, but if I am working on a larger quilt,(Like a queen size), it sometimes takes 3 pens to complete the project. As soon as I open the pen, I know I will have to hurry because I think the ink starts drying up as soon as I get started. Even marking a baby quilt is not always possible with one pen. I will continue to purchase them because I haven't found a better way for marking quilting designs. ( I am a hand quilter.). Just make sure that whatever you are using it for can be completed in that day or the next or you will have to go back and mark it again when the ink disappears. That part works great.

Yeah, I know it says 'disappearing ink,' and it says 'use on products to be completed within twenty-four hours.' I thought that the term 'disappearing' was a leap, that this ink was just water-soluble, that if I didn't finish the project in twenty-four hours, that the ink would set and be harder to remove. Well. I was wrong. They really meant disappearing ink. And oh boy, it disappeared. I had intended to just leave the ink on and not wash it, as the thickness of the thread would cover the ink. I now realize that I won't have that problem.Attaching pictures of what looks like a blank cotton embroidery canvas because that's what I have left after, like, an hour and a half of tracing, like, twelve pieces. The second picture has the barest imprint of letters. This is notable because I definitely had to press harder than what the instructions suggested and most of the ink has gone.

This is the second one of these I've bought, and found that it works great on aida fabric for cross stitch or embroidery. It is easily removed with water, but if you wait, it'll also fade after a day or two in the air. It does have a rather fine point, so while that's good for closer weave fabric, using it on fuzzier fabrics meant using it more to see the line and thus it runs out quicker, (so something with a broader point might work better with that). It's something I've found has made my crafting much much easier!

It works! Just not super well on many fabrics have to really go over it several times to make it show up even on white.
