Some fiber contents, fabric finishes or dyes (red and pink in particular) may not be suitable for use with this pen. Do not iron over marks or launder before completely removing with plain water. Some laundry products containing sodium hydroxide or sodium carbonate may set marks if they are not completely removed before laundering.

What a fantastic idea for sewing! This Dritz pen is so beyond amazing! Being able mark on my fabric where I need to cut or how many inches a certain point is, cause you know my ruler is only so long! I have used this pen so often and yesterday when I was cutting I was thinking I really need to let people know that this is amazing! I needed to mark up my white and yellow fabric a whole bunch because I was working on a larger project. This allowed me to mark up where I needed and be able to see it, cause purple works a lot better than white fabric chalk, and be able to cut in nice, wonderful straight lines!Dritz disappearing ink marking pen I am in love and I don't care who knows it!

I love that it disappears eventually but not too quickly (depending on the fabric). The pen has been lasting longer than other pens I bought in the past.

Love that the ink doesn’t usually disappear before I can finish hand quilting my marked area, probably because the tip is a little wider than my first disappearing ink pen and makes a heavier mark with one pass. The downside to that is, as you mark, the felt tip scrapes the sides of the plastic stencil, causing the tip to “fuzzâ€, and I’m worried that the tip will become too damaged to mark correctly before long (still on my first use — so “we shall see!â€. For that reason, I’ll probably stick to the fine point pen in the future, even though you have to mark over the design heavily to keep it from drying too quickly.

I used this pen for drawing designs on a sweaters.The pen ink fades in 24 hours or less .. which is good for my projects. You can always reapply or redo if you make a mistake applying to your project.I spray with water my finished project and blot all visible ink lines with a paper towel . I highly recommend !

The marker works great and just as described. I used the marker on white cotton fabric. I first tested it on the fabric and it washed away with just water and my finger. The other test markings were gone after 24hrs. The purple is vibrant and very easy to see when you first make your markings. Made machine sewing my pattern a breeze! The package came a little water damaged (see photo) but that gets thrown away anyway, no actual damage to the marker.

I'm working with vintage satin for a special project, and I tried this pen on a scrap piece. Amazingly, it came out with water, just as promised on the package, and also disappeared in a day by itself. So, a word of caution: if you are marking a quilt, the marks disappear fairly quickly, so don't plan to wait long to begin quilting your design.

Muy práctico, hace lÃneas finas y muy detalladas sobre la tela. TenÃa un poco de temor porque lo usé sobre tela blanca, pero al tallar las marcas suavemente con agua desapareció toda la tinta. Definitivamente muy útil.
