I wouldn't have believed it, but it does work like it is described. Alot of labels too. This is exactly what I was looking for. Very happy, storage is much easier & I don't get stabbed!

This is a very well designed product. There is a magnet at the bottom of each vial that moves to the top of the vial, but doesn't come out. This enables all of your needles to bouquet out of the vial without spilling. Genius! The package also comes with pre-printed labels. Super happy with this purchase.

I have used these tubes for years to separate the sizes of my tapestry needles for cross-stitch. A recent uptick in my interest in embroidery has suddenly expanded the different types of needles I use. I tried using a magnetic holder, storing one size on one side and another size on the other side of the magnetic pad. You guessed it: all too quickly getting one needle out and another size back in resulted in confusion. Now I have tubes neatly labeled with all different sizes and types of needles.

This is a really handy little gadget. It's easy to see your needles and it keeps them secure as well. It doesn't hold longer yarn needles or the plastic yarn needles, which is what I mostly have but I still like it ok.

I am making a tiny sewing kit for travel. I certainly hope never to need it, but a seam can break open anytime and anywhere. I needed a small tube to safely carry needles.I had read the reviews stating there were problems with the magnet. I didn’t really understand what the problem was so I bought this anyway. Now I see… the little magnet slides freely up the length of the tube. I can see how the points of small needles could get wedged in between the magnet and inside wall of the tube. The tube narrows at the top so the magnet cannot be removed.This tube is actually a bit bigger and longer than I thought it was. My sewing needles are typically shorter so really did not need the added length of this tube. I dislike being stumped by a little piece of plastic. I retrieved my craft materials and used my tiny miter box and saw, then cut about 3/4 inch off the bottom. The magnet slid out. Using some 2-part epoxy putty, I fashioned a new bottom for the tube. Now its perfect! A shorter length saves space in my sewing kit, no magnet to fight with, now I have the simple little tube that I wanted all along. Easy-peezy.

These little jars/bottles are perfect for my cross-stitch needles. I wanted a cleaner way to store the needles than in just their package. I did not utilize the labels as I don't mix different needle sizes together. So I used my label maker to make quick little labels for the size needle in each bottle. The magnet works extraordinarily well. The top pulls off easily but not so easily that I'd accidentally open it unintentionally. They are the perfect little size to put into my embroidery floss storage when I'm done stitching for the day.

I bought the version that twists open. I thought I was taking a risk with this needle storage container, but I'm pleasantly surprised. It's well designed and works well. It's my favourite sewing needle storage device so far.

I really like "Dritz 812 Needle Storage Tubes, 3 Pack, Clear" even though I didn't receive any label with them, but never mind, I have the tubes with a strong magnet inside the tube that holds my needles still. When I open the lid and turn the tube down, a spring of my needles pop-out helps me easily take the one I need, it even searches for the needle I dropped on the floor and picks it up for me 😎. I'm totally happy with these handy tubes. I love them and will order them again.
