Can be sewn through without gumming up your needle. Perfect for holding together seams or hems before stitching. Tape is water soluble so it should be stored in a cool, dry place when not in use. Imported.

This wonder tape has made it so easy to put in some zippers on my project! I’ve always hated zippers and this has changed that for me! I also like that I can move it easily but it adheres well too.

This is a life-changing sewing hack!Pinning can become a long and tedious process; not to mention the frustration of always being sure to maintain accurate alignment of your fabrics. Even though this will not ever eliminate the pinning process completely, it is an excellent alternative- or even addition- to pinning! It could be stickier, but if you are sure to really press your fabric together on the taped part, it will hold in place well enough to do its job (just keep this in mind and handle your fabrics gently if you are moving it around so it doesn’t separate) But that is an incredibly minor factor in comparison to what a great product this is, especially for only a few dollars!Initially, I was skeptical about just HOW dissolvable the tape would be after being washed. I half-expected for the garment to come out of the washing machine with some trace of sticky residue, or fibers remaining between the stitches I made over the tape line. But WOW! Any sign of the tape was COMPLETELY eliminated from the fabric! I never would have known if I hadn’t done it myself! (even in COLD water wash loads!)This saves so much time and frustration, improves accuracy and hold, and comes with a lot of tape; one roll will last you for a while! This tape has become a permanent fixture on my sewing table!

I used this to tack material down when hemming both t-shirt knit material as well as cotton oxford woven material. Unlike some other reviewers, I found that the tape adhered reasonably well once finger pressed with good pressure. I immediately sewed the hems so I have no experience with whether the adhesion would fail if you set aside the prepped fabric aside to sew later like some here have had trouble with. I also did not try to iron press the hem after applying the tape so I can also not speak to that. However, like others reviewers, I also found that it was extremely (and I emphasize extremely) difficult to separate the paper layer once the tape is initially placed on the fabric. I suggest peeling a little of the paper off the adhesive (maybe a 1/4†or so) before applying the adhesive layer to the fabric to get the separation started. Even this is difficult. I needed to use a magnifier along with a scalpel blade to “scrape†the adhesive off of the edge of the paper backing to get the separation started. So overall, not so easy to use but I guess that I should be thankful that it did stick to the fabrics in my use case.

This tape is a must have for sewing! I recently saw someone using it on a sewing video and knew I had to give it a try. I'm beyond satisfied with my purchase! It has made my hems turn out so much neater than before. It is also excellent for work with stretchy and delicate fabrics. I was worried it wouldn't wash away, but this product is exactly as advertised. I'll definitely be keeping this wash away tape on hand at all times. It has made sewing so much easier and I don't know how I just discovered it. It is seriously a miracle product!

I wanted a 1/4" DST so decided to order the Dritz. What a waste of money and time. It is almost impossible to separate the paper from the tape. It does not stick worth a darn to canvas, quilt cotton, or vinyl. I only ordered it because Annie's DST only comes in 1/8" width. By Annies is the absolute best DST out there and I am hoping she will eventually make 1/4 & 1/2" tapes. I make bags and install a lot of zippers and this Dritz is garbage. By the way, it is also overpriced, especially since it doesn't work worth a darn. Worst of all, I ordered it from Amazon and then ordered it from another site by mistake so I am stuck with two rolls! I don't know how anyone can give this DST a good rating. Maybe it works better on lighter fabrics, but I can tell you it is not worth your time or money to order this if you make bags, totes, pouches, etc.

I make bags as a hobby - but hate sewing zippers. Like really hate it. Then I watched a video of someone using this tape to hold the zipper in place to make sewing easier. I felt like a fool for not realizing that double sided sticky tape was even an option. I used it the same night that the package arrived. It was like the heavens had opened and I heard harps playing. lol. I will def. be ordering more of this.

This is an absolute must-have when hemming jersey or stretch fabric. Look on the net for a demonstration of how to use it and you can't fail. Wise to have a little practice using waste fabric though.

Para sujetar cremalleras antes de coserlas es muy práctico si se tiene un tejido difÃcil.Merece la pena. Para cualquier cremallera lo considero un poco caro.

Just press it between two fabrics and sew a perfect seam, no more pins. Brilliant!

Je m'en sers à chaque projet couture pour les coutures des poches sur le devant des tee-shirts et pour faire les ourlets avec la recouvreuse. Je suis conquise par cette bande autocollante des deux côtés qui part au lavage.
