Installration Steps
Step 1
Place the booster in its mounting position and secure it with bolts. Connect the booster to the oil pipe of the main pump and steering machine, and pls pay attention to the direction and position of the lines to ensure a smooth flow of oil.
Step 2
Connect the vacuum line, paying attention to the direction and position of the line to ensure that the vacuum line is clear.
Step 3
Adjust the mounting angle and position of the booster to ensure that it is properly connected to the oil circuit between the steering machine and the main pump of the vehicle.Adjust the working pressure and vacuum of the booster to ensure its normal operation.
Step 4
After installation, test run, check the working state and performance of the booster is normal. Only simple steps are provided here, please refer to professional installation for details.

I had a little problem installing it myself because of my size. I was installing it on a 86 Corvette and getting under the dash, even with the seat out, was no easy feat. However, once I got the booster installed, it worked perfectly. I also love the fact the booster is metal and not the plastic one.

After trying three different brake boosters, this was the only one that worked properly for our 1989 Corvette. It does not have anything else included, so plan accordingly. Great job for Drivestar to have something available like this for cars that are 35+ years old. Keep supplying us old corvette owners with replaceable parts! We'll buy them! No need to look any further! Stop the search and buy here if you have a car like mine.

Good quality item with nice metal casing, but didn't fit my 1985 corvette due to clutch master cylinder reservoir getting in contact with the booster and blocked it from sitting flat against firewall.I'm sure it would fit an Automatic Corvette.

It appears to be a high-quality. It is made of steel so hopefully it will not crack like my last two dead. It worked very well in my 1991 Corvette. Since it is smaller and more compact, it was easier to install than the plastic ones.

Perfect item for me. Was used on an 84 Vette though it was speced for 85/91 worked fine a little tight but works

Went to replace on my 1988 corvette and found the vacuum plug on the outside to be too big. Had to get adaptors to fit. The stem that attaches to the brake pedal was too small and had to drill it out. THEN the rod was too long causing the brakes to be stuck on…
