1) The mat may initially have some wrinkles/creases from being folded and packaged. Over time these will relax out of the material as the product rebounds from being packaged.
2) For best washing results: Rinse off or hand wash with a mild detergent, then hang to dry. If machine washing, use a machine without an agitator and wash separately on a delicate cycle with a mild detergent, then hang to dry (DO NOT BLEACH OR PUT IN DRYER).

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these mats!!! I originally purchased them in 2019 after I renovated my house. I was looking for durable mats and was not disappointed. I just purchased three more for a new home!The mats are easy to cut to size. The best part is that they don't bunch up ... just lay them down once and they stay that way. They are substantial mats and well worth the money.

I purchased to use as "landing zones" by the microwave and dishwasher on my quartz countertops. The thickness is perfect and the backing grips the countertop flawlessly. No wrinkles or lumps. The material cuts easily and even cutting rounded corners was no problem. The material seems to be well attached to the backing so I think it is going to hold up to washing. I ordered the 24x59 size so I could cut mats to the sizes I needed. The sheet did have creases where it was folded for shipping, however the creases smoothed out with absolutely no problem by using my hand held steamer on the cloth side. I would give this product 20 stars if I could.

We'd originally purchased one of these to put under the kitchen sink cabinet. Frankly, we were leery due to the $$$, but once we received it, cut it to size, and installed, we purchased seven (7x) more XL mats to cut and install in every lower kitchen cabinet, and in the base of our lavatory cabinets and drawers (we don't like hearing drawers rattle and prefer to keep items in-place). In short, we are impressed with this product. Here are our review data points:- Looks: There are several patterns to choose from and they aren't "cheap" looking. The tightly woven cover makes the mat look as though it was much more expensive. Very classy.- Adhesion: A bit of a misnomer, given there isn't any adhesive backing but there might as well be! (In our opinion, we're unsure why you'd 'stick' anything to the bottom of a cabinet or drawer.) The rubber backing on these mats really grips the surface and simply does not move or "accordion," especially in the drawers.- Weight: Okay, not usually a review classification category for these products, but in this case, it is. The density of the foam rubber backing makes the mat lie completely flat on the surface, even right out of the package. This density/weight is what helps keep this product in-place, in our opinion.- Ease of Install: This one may come as a shock. These mats aren't too easily cut with a common household pair of scissors. These types of scissors have often been overused and aren't sharp enough to provide that clean, crisp edge (my husband is a bit of OCD, here!) What he decided to do was lay the mat flat on my sewing cutting mat and use an aluminum straight edge and utility knife with a brand new blade; it was like cutting through soft butter and the finished edge was perfect.*NOTE*: When you measure the exact dimension of your space, subtract about 1/8-inch from each side/edge; you'll be glad you did.Anyway, hope this review helps. These mats are very nice and look so good a cabinet door or drawer is open. Sure, there are cheaper options, but we've tried many of them with varying degrees of failure. Spend the extra $$$, you won't be disappointed.

I like the look and feel of this liner. The thickness is perfect. It looks nice under my sinks and I feel like the area is protected. I had a lot left over and decided to use it to line my kitchen cabinets. Not such a great idea. The pieces for the cabinets are, of coarse, cut much smaller than for inder the sink. The liner will slide and fold over itself when I slide dishes over it. This was not a great idea on my part. Under the sinks - great! Other shelves - don’t make same mistake I made.

I received my purchase today and immediately after I got off work I put this in my bathroom vanity because during the winter when weather dips to single digits and I need to let sink drip to keep pipes from freezing, it builds up a condensation that drips under sink. I discovered yesterday that my sink did that this past week so I decided rather a bulky rubber under sink mat I would purchase this protection mat. First, my vanity is odd size so there were no "rubber mats" that would fit. This was the perfect option and I am so glad I ordered this protection mat. I ordered the 24x59 because I wanted to have extra in case I did get another condensation leak, I would take that one out to clean and put the extra one in it's place. Not only can I cut it to custom fit the vanity, it totally made it look nicer. Will order another one to put under the kitchen sink.

I’ve just had new cupboards in my kitchen and wanted to protect them before I even started to use them.This liner is quite expensive for what it is, but as there is hardly anything else out there, I was happy to pay that little extra.It was easy to cut to size although the only downside is where it has been folded it really doesn’t want to lie flat.I even used a hairdryer to warm it up, which got rid of some of the creases but not all of them. I suppose after time it will eventually flatten.I managed to cut enough for my under sink and then enough to go in the cupboard underneath my microwave.As a side note, I ordered felt drawer protectors from Ikea for the rest of my cupboards (these didn’t need to be waterproof like under the sink).
