Drill the hole, insert anchor, but a hint. Tighten the screw to open the anchor before using. If the anchor isn't open, the screw won't reach and the anchor won't open. Once open, it works like a charm.

LOVE these! They are very sturdy and probably won't come out very easy!

They did what I expected them to do. The issues I had were getting them the spread once in the wall, since there was insulation and I had a hard time getting them to expand, this caused the screw being unable to tighten up, once I got the screw to catch it worked at it should.

They require a pre-drilled hole but don't tell you what size. I found a 3/8 works well. Screw should be a bit longer for installation.

I have purchased a bunch of stuff for some bathroom renovations in the home, and if I were to offer any advice to anyone wanting to do the same, it would be to have a good stud finder, a good laser level, and a bag full of these little gems.

Poor design and poor quality. I used it on a regular hollow drywall. If it does not bend enough inside the wall, the screw does not reach the end, which makes it not lock and useless. When it does lock, the screw head is so weak that it easily breaks, which left me no choice but redrilling it to get the anchor out of the way. Luckily I had metal butterfly screws that could fit in the larger hole.I threw the whole package to the garbage.Ended up buying similar anchors but with different design that actually work well at home depot

This well-priced product allows me to hang pictures, hooks and plaques on even the flimsy walls of my mobile home.
