I was a little leery of using metal anchors over plastic but these work really well and it's nice to have screws paired with the anchors instead of trying to mix and match.

Other than the first one I tried running into a pre drilled hole breaking even though it's metal, the rest of them went in satisfactorily. I'm not going to lie, that first one pissed me off considering I bought metal anchors because I was tired of plastic ones breaking, but hopefully it was just a fluke, maybe one with weak metal. They're strong enough to hold one of my fat boys, so I'm happy.

I love this design and have been buying these type of anchors for years unfortunately, whoever made these give them with inferior materials and they break very easily instead of screwing into the wall. I ended up using many more than I needed to because I would go through two or three of them before they would actually work and I would have to throw the ones that were broken away and start again or it made a big hole in the wall and then I had to repair the wall wait for that to dry and then try again I will not be ordering these again. I will stick with the brand names that I get from Home Depot

I used this for some bathroom accessories that had started to pull off the wall. These zinc anchors worked perfectly in the existing holes to provide a secure place for the screws to sink. Excellent price compared to what the big box stores wanted to charge for less than half the anchors.

These are very short for use as wall anchors...
