This is a nice tool to sand down drywall. It has a vacuum to suck up dust while you are sanding down. However, the vacuum isn't perfect so you will still see dust coming out while you are sanding. If the suction power was more powerful, that would have possibly reduce the dust.The tool is super easy to set up and install. It collapses and fits well in a bag that comes with the set. There are extra sand paper that you can easily attach and detach. There are plenty of sand papers but once they are used, I will have to figure out if I can find compatible fitting sand papers.Overall, it is a bit pricer than other sander with vacuum but as far as sanding, this product works really well. If you are looking for heavy duty job, this will do the job. The sander is not too heavy so it is easy to use. You can also extend the handle to reach higher places, but its not for anything taller than 9 ft tall ceiling.

Great for the price! Works good but you may need to buy some extra sandpaper depending on the size of your job. Keeps the dust down but still some as expected

This sander did nearly everything that I needed it to do. I had a large drywall project I was working on in my garage and had basically three walls and a ceiling to sand. I used this unit to sand the entire project and it made really quick work of it. The motor is strong, the handle is ergonomically comfortable, and it is not so heavy that it makes it a burden to use.I am only giving it 4 stars for one reason - dust collection. Whenever you are working with drywall, dust is a concern. You should be wearing appropriate safety gear regardless of the collection system however this one appears to have a rather sophisticated system for collecting the dust and keeping it out of the users face. I think that it needs a bit more engineering and a slightly more powerful collection system to be able to retain the dust where it needs to be. Perhaps it is because the motor is powerful and makes a lot of dust that overwhelms the collection system, or perhaps it just isn't able to control all of it. Either way, it does collect some which is a plus.

Doesn’t stay still. Likes to bounce around wouldn’t recommend. I understand it’s cheaper but not worth the money

Definitely need a good vac. This thing eats the drywall dust up.

I'm using it to sand my hardwood floors for refinishing. Slow process, but it works great, and is much easier than the rentals.
