Works as desired, hubby was so very HAPPY that I was able to get this for him. Had hoped to find in a "local" store immediately, but after searching four different "home improvement" big-box stores as far as 60 miles away with no luck - I ordered it HERE. Sadly, only ONE store employee (out of more than 12 asked) even knew what it was that I was asking for when I stated "Drywall Tape Reel / Dispenser that you clip onto your belt".My hubby is definitely a handy DIY'er with our 106 yr old house, and as such, was viewing tips on drywall repairs, taping, etc on YouTube. After viewing this AMAZINGLY efficient Professional Drywall Taper (video: [...] ) he desired this nifty tool, too. Granted, he does NOT anticipate being anywhere near as fast & efficient as Chad in that video, but he still liked the added convenience and efficiency of not misplacing the tape; walking here & there to get / find tape; and the ease of access / tearing tape as needed, too.Personally, I like the idea that this tool will minimize all the growling & cursing he does when he's searching for "lost / misplaced" items - at least it's one less item to misplace!Wow! Definitely a time saver for taping. ONLY thing I would change would be to have something to lock in the wire holder on the outside of the reel. It will pop out every once in awhile but definitely not a big deal.

Hate mud and tape.... so I thought? Bought it to use for a remodel garage and utility room project. Found it worth the money to have when taping all the seams and joints. Quick and easy - think it helps keep tape and job cleaner. Worked well. Made me hate taping a little less.

I was simply taping 500sqft of ceiling in my garage, but I still thought this would be handy and it sure was! Even though I was just doing a single job, I thought for the ~$10 it was worth it so I didn't have to constantly put my tools down, grab the tape, cut the piece and then continue my work.... etc.
