These replaced my OEM paper cone factory door tweeters in my 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500. I can’t believe how much better the sound was with these, and this was with my factory head unit.I have since installed a new head unit, a 2000w 5 channel amp, all new door speakers and two 10†subs in a sealed enclosure under the back seat. These tweeters can easily handle the increased power supplied to them and they sound amazing! I can hear amazing highs that my old speakers just couldn’t reproduce at all!These tweeters were priced in the low $30 range. Similar tweeters from other suppliers are 2-3 times that price. I highly, highly recommend these speakers! 😄

Popped my previous set of tweeters that did not have a built in crossover, learned my lesson this is pretty much a requirement on tweeters to prevent the wrong low to pop your tweeter. In a rush on Sunday to get them replaced saw these as available for same day delivery on Amazon and figured it was worth a shot.They are HUGE! I instantly feared they would not fit but in my 2018 sti they fit super snug, had to use a little pressure but the are flush.The sound is 10x better than the previous set I had in there.The bout in crossover will give some peace of mind now.Paired with decent mid range speakers and a sub these tweeters will give you crystal clear highs to complete the perfect sound.What was suppose to be a cheap quick fix needed up being a steal of an upgrade.

I wanted louder tweeters in my car and this most definitely did the job. However, the "Tss" sound in songs or voices really pierced my ears and gave me discomfort but it was a lot louder than my previous dome tweeters but I prefer dome all around because it does not pierce as much and is similarly loud. I plan on keeping these for the loudness though. Really worth the money.

I bought these to install in my towers within my theater. For context my LFE bed consists of 6 15" and 3 18" subwoofers and these guys are more than able to sing loud and clear over the pools of bass and work VERY well with a variety of crossover designs due to their frequency handling range.I've tested them with custom 2-way AND 3-way crossovers and because they dip down to 2,000Hz, it's VERY easy to blend them with an unstressed midwoofer or midrange driver! Dialog is very pronounced and easily projects over background and low frequency effects with no breakup or drop in fidelity. Whether you're night listening at low levels or cranking your theater into the 125dB+ range, these tweeters hold their own!A good demo movie for these tweeters (if you're using them in a DIY theater) is Interstellar as I found out recently. There's a LOT of infrasonic and mid bass. If tweeters are going to struggle, it'd be with a movie like this. Dialog was easy to pick up on, even during heavy-rumble scenes.

Definitely use a crossover. I have put them on an amp with a crossover and eq. They do a good job at bringing in hood highs. For the price they are perfect. If you have the right setup they are loud and clear. I have 8 8†midrange DS18s and 4 6.5†midrange DS 18s in my doors fiberglassed. I’m only running 1 tweeter per door and they come in perfect with the 3 loud speakers per door. I also have 1 10†subwoofer DS18. I’m a music engineer so me hearing the customer ears of music is very important to producing and mastering music.

These sounded just like the Timpanos I bought and they are really heavy. Sound like absolute junk with no tones pronounced other than blasting loud vocals which sound distorted at all levels. These ruined the music and sound stage.
