Took this on my latest 5-day winter camping trip where I used a tent stove and a Buddy Heater. This was hung at the top of the tent and stayed on, day and night, for the entirety of the trip and the battery didn't lose a single bar of charge by the end of the trip. At first it was reading zero regardless of what heater was running, even right after lighting, so I worried that it may not be working but then I fired up my Pocket Rocket stove to boil some water and it went off. Every time I fired up the stove, it went off and I could watch the reading climb rapidly after each lighting of that stove. The alarm is pretty loud and I love the minimalist green ring that blinks warmly every 15 seconds or so so that you can see that it's working when the screen goes to sleep. Perfect!

All sensors work a little slow but seem accurate enough, also like having the temp and humidity. Tested over my gas range and it eventually picked up the CO after about 15 seconds. Used this tent camping down to 22 degrees F, which was correct. Screen goes to sleep after a few minutes, wakes up on button push.

Very good product. Battery life is very good. Sensitive to read even small changes in CO level. Like it very much for car camping.

So far so good, it charged up and seems to have decent battery life and being able to charge with a C type connector beats running to the store buying batteries when off the beaten path.The unit does work and the alarm will sound when levels are reached. It seems to take a couple seconds to read changing conditions but updates quickly. I used various heaters and a cigarette to test its sensitivity and the cigarette raised levels to the 50ppm to set off the alarm.I have no way to test how accurate it is but it’s definitely reading and makes me a feel much more safe in the portable ice house!The size is great to put in a pocket and hang from the poles in the ice house. The display is plenty big enough to read and the alarm was pretty loud.I’m impressed so far and I’ll upgrade to 5 stars if it remains functioning properly.

Got a hot tent with wood stove for hunting. Needed a small device to alert me if C02 got over the limit in the tent while we’re sleeping. This is small and works as I required. Small but effective is all that counts. Reads a lots of other things that is great too. Already tested it out and works great. Nice safety for camping.

I bought this CO detector and also a Kiddie CO detector after an incident at work where myself and some coworkers were exposed to CO from a vehicle illegally idling in our loading dock.So I tested this detector with my gas stove, my Toyota's exhaust, and I had a co-worker test it at work with a CO tank he now has to test/calibrate the newly installed CO detectors at work. It never detected any CO when exposed to it. The Kiddie CO detector I also bought at the same time sounded it's audible alarm after 20 seconds being exposed to CO by my co-worker.The unit's thermometer also did not change much between indoors / outdoors / next to my stove's burner, etc. Ended up returning the unit.

I like the long battery life. Very handy to have a temperature reading and feel safe with the CO reading/alarm. Used in our fish house.

winter camping , ice fishing hut, product displayed ppm with the propane heater on , give visual warning green yellow red light and audio if ppms were getting high with real time temp co2 ppm and humidity displaybattery held full chaged for 48 hrsworked better than expected!

Semplice e funzionale. Testato nei pressi di un camino ed ha rilevato valori crescenti in avvicinamento. Comodo da piazzare ( sempre nel punto più basso dove soggiorniamo. La Batteria è durata per 9 giorni ( aveva ancora una tacca evidenziata sulle 3 disponibili. Arrivato nei tempi previsti.

Es un pequeño aparato que mide la concentración de monóxido de carbono y emite una alerta en caso de sobrepasar los niveles seguros. Además de ello mide la temperatura y la humedad en ambiente. Es muy fácil de manejar y viene con un pequeño manual en seis idiomas incluido el castellano con la única pega que le veo: el tamaño de la letra del manual es muy pequeño. El producto viene bien presentado en una caja que contiene el aparato, un cable de carga y el manual.El detector es, estéticamente, bonito y en la mano se siente muy bien. Tiene una pantalla con números grande y que presenta la información de ppm de CO detectadas, la temperatura y la humedad ambiente, el estado de la alarma y el nivel de baterÃa. Dispone de tres botones y alrededor de los mismos se ilumina (tipo latido para ahorrar baterÃa) un ovalo con el color correspondiente al nivel de detección correspondiente:• Verde = 0-50 ppm• Amarillo = 51-150 ppm (con alerta sonora de baja frecuencia)• Rojo = más de 151 ppm (con alerta sonora de alta frecuencia)Los niveles de alarma se pueden configurar y ajustar a nuestra preferencia. La alarma se puede desactivar para que no suene y la temperatura se puede cambiar entre grados Fahrenheit y Celsius. Un buen detalle es que la pantalla se apaga después de un tiempo sin acción nuestra o sin cambio en la detección, pero el led de color sigue latiendo, de esta forma ahorra baterÃa pero sigue indicando que está funcionando y es seguro.Otro detalle muy bueno es que es magnético y se puede colocar en el capó del coche o en cualquier elemento de metal para que vaya midiendo si hay algún peligro y tener las manos libres.En las pruebas de detección no falló ni una vez, tal vez algún falso positivo con ciertos vapores de productos especiales que casi es mejor que también los detecte. Por mi parte me siento muy seguro con este detector y se ha convertido en imprescindible en mi coche y en las salidas al campo o al pueblo con las barbacoas y estufas. Teniendo en cuenta que una sola carga puede proporcionar hasta 168 horas seguidas de detección, es una muy buena opción a tener en cuenta para usarlo incluso como detector fijo pero que también lo puedes llevar a cualquier sitio. Muy buen producto.
