That’s what you get if you order 4. Unlike Velcro you will have to buy 8 feet if you want 4 feet. It seems that all dual lock tape is that way. I ordered a couple and all came in the same way. I haven’t tested the grip of the back side yet. I will update when I do.

I have never seen mushroom type fasteners before, but they supposedly have much greater holding strength than traditional hook and loop architecture. There is a plastic film applied over the adhesive that needs to be removed before placement and you need to leave it be for 24 hours to develop maximum adhesion. The adhesive foam tape construction appears to be superior to the less expensive hook and loop solutions and the adhesive itself is plenty sticky. It can withstand more extreme temperatures than traditional (cheaper) solutions, too. While more expensive than traditional hook and loop, these are beefier, stiffer and seem stronger than the traditional ones. I am hoping they last longer than cheaper hook and loop solutions that need more frequent replacement. These look like they will last longer.
