I bought this to replace my previous outdoor fireplace cover. The quality of this item is perfect! It prevents my fireplace from getting wet in the rain or snow. It fits perfectly and is easy to get on and off. The color hasn’t faded and the handles make it easy to use. Great value for your money!

I bought this firepit cover along with covers for two chairs, a couch, and a table just before we got our California winter rains....the cushions were absolutely dry after days and days of downpours. They advise to not keep the cushions under them during rain, but I usually just uncover them temporarily once the sun comes out to make sure they get a good airing out. Never have had an issue with mildew.The material is very strong – but not strong enough to withstand the teeth of my 1 year-old Shepherd. Fortunately the holes they chewed were not in an integral place and haven't caused any issues with keeping rain out. I'd for sure purchase a repair kit if they sell them.I also really appreciate the fact that there are velcro straps (or clippable straps on the seating for each leg) to secure the covers. We've had a few intense windstorms and the covers didn't go anywhere.I highly recommend these covers to anyone who wants to protect their patio furniture!

Update September 2023: Just wanted to add an update to my review. This current cover has been in use since April 2022, 18 months. It has not ripped and is still in great shape. The top has faded quite a bit as it has direct sunlight on it all day-no shade at all. I really don’t care about that since the overall quality is so superior to other brands. I also checked under the cover, and it is not sticking to my fire pit in any way. I have noticed in reviews of other, cheaper, fire pit covers that they wind up sticking to the fire pit and leaving it damaged! Save yourself some time and money-buy a Duck.Original review: I have bought lots of different patio furniture covers on Amazon, including Amazon basics. The duck covers are hands-down the best of all. Most of the other ones only last a season before ripping. We have hot summers where I am and on many of the other brands, the fabric just deteriorates and shreds and rips. Not so on the duck covers.

This is a replacement purchase for one that we bought back in 2021. If you leave the cover exposed to the elements, during the summertime, be prepared to replace the cover every 2 years or so. Our fire pit is a 30x30 inch square table and when new, the cover fits easily over the fire pit. As time goes on however, the cover does shrink a bit and the corners become very tight, thus making removal of the cover more difficult. As you can see in the picture, there is significant fading as well. The gray color on the cover of the floor is exposure to 2years of sunlight. Lastly, although the non-peforated areas of the cover is durable, the perforated (allows for air flow) between the top and the bottom of the cover (light brown) will be the first part to tear once the cover shrinks and you have to struggle to remove the cover. Other than these items, it's a decent cover, spending $27 every couple of years isn't too bad.

I purchased this Duck brand cover for our 30†fire pit. It fits it very nice. I like the Velcro at the bottom that can be tightened to secure the cover from blowing off. As to the durability and water proofing, I can’t really say as we have only used a short time but the materials seem very nice and I imagine it will repeal water as well. We use it under a roof so not much exposure to rain. I would recommend this cover and price was excellent.

I recently purchased this to cover my wood-burning firepit during the off-season. I just received it but was happy with the quality of the material and the construction. It was easy to put on the firepit, was the correct size and the Velcro straps allow it to be tightened to prevent blowing off. It rained the day after I put the cover on, and I was able to see a small puddle of water on the surface, indicating that it had not penetrated the cover. Obviously, it would be best to evaluate this product once a full season has passed, so I can determine it's true durability, value, and effectiveness. I am hopeful that it will do the trick.

Too early to tell if it is durable but it is much better quality than the cover that came with my fire pit. Fit perfectly based on dimensions provided. Has weathered a few heavy downpours with heavy wind and help strong and water tight.
