This tape is great for both mailing and packing. I have rebought four times and am very happy. If you are looking for super strong tape, this product is no for you.

During the Holidays, Birthdays and other special occasions, I prefer to send an actual gift to be delivered instead of an Amazon gift card (sorry!?!?) or cash to members of my family and good lifelong friends. Because of this, I am sending packages thru the delivery services (the USPS less often in the last several years). All this means that I have to pack and ship items in various sized boxes which necessitates the construction of flat boxes and sealing to make them ready to survive the transportation to the final destination. I have tried many other packing tapes, including some from moving companies, and this Duck HD is the easiest to work with, pulls easily from the bare roll and does the best job constructing and sealing the boxes to survive the truck or plane trip to the destination. It also rolls off the various hand applicators the best when used in accomplishing the task. I will always return to Amazon to get more of this outstanding tape when my stock runs low

Duck HD Clear Packing Tape gives you 6 rolls for a total of 328 yards, that's a LOT of packing tape!We only use Duck tape because it seems to be the thickest, sturdier tape of all packing tapes.Once you place it to tape it can be annoyingly stuck and strong which is a GREAT feature. There's no relifting and replacing if you've taped crooked. It's strong enough that it can be hard to remove. Again, NOT A negative feature.I've packed many many boxes for moving over the years and this tape out performs all others in my opinion when it comes to holding power, stickiness and strength.One note though: this tape does lose its stickiness over time IF the roll is opened. I had a set of 8 rolls which was more than we needed at the time. So the remaining rolls went into a drawer and the opened roll stayed on the roller applicator.5 years later I tried using the opened roll and it lost most of its stick. The other unopened rolls stick like brand new rolls.Definitely recommend Duck Packing Tape!

Kept misplacing my packing tape so bought this "6 pack" to not be without it again. Like the brand - strong and sticky enough. Reasonably priced for 6 rolls. Recommended.

Great use and price ! we use it to return amazon packages ;)I like that it comes with a guard for the blade. I put it back on after each use. The tape is o.k. Not as sticky as you’d want it to be. Quality still good enough

Someone in my building left a 1/5th roll of really high quality packing tape behind. I only ever used cheap stuff. After doing some research, I took a chance on a 6-pack of this clear Duck packing tape. I wanted more of this mythical 'better packing tape'. Yep, it's good and strong...not like that frustrating junk from the local store that would make kindergarten kids homicidal. I plan to use Duck packing tape....or something like it....from here on in.

This made closing boxes so much faster and easier. Definitely recommend if you’re moving house or storing lots of items.

As mentioned below, it costed me under $100AUD dollar after conversion, (which includes delivery). Product is of high quality, strong and clear. I use this to cover my handmade labels. Would buy again.
