I'm not sure that it's alllll that..The slit detail is a nice addition and prevents the skirt from looking too matronly. Its also nice that the buttons are functional so you can play with the dimensions of the look.I'm 5'4 ~145 lbs and the medium fit fine although the waist band is tight and thick and has less give than the rest of the skirt. The buttons on the top just slightly pull over my Dcup chest but if I were to order a size up, it really would not have looked great. I think this set is for a leaner, less curvy type frame.

I thought this was nice but the neck line was horrible. It was stretchy and the color was pretty. I probably should have gone up a size as it fit very tightly (not uncomfortable but more like body con) for ref- I’m 5’1 180 I ordered a size LUltimately returned this bc I couldn’t stand the neckline. Also felt more like a granny in it.

This set is extremely flattering. I don’t usually like stuff that hugs my body but this looks nice. It is really stretchy which is nice, it fits well and the color is great. It’s not all that warm but perfect for fall and spring.

Turn around...Okay, so yes this is a button up, busty with small waist nightmare, BUT you can do two things with this top, 1. wear it open with a cute shirt under or 2. turn it around! It has the exact same neckline front or back! I love this! So that's what I did, I turned mine so the buttons were on my back, no gaps or subtle flashing of my glorious mountains (lol).This outfit is great for work or quick errands, the top looks great with denim and khakis as well and of course you can wear the skirt with sweater vest, jackets, shirts, etc. Great for those looking to do a capsule wardrobe while traveling this holiday season!

I should’ve sized up and ordered a large! I’m between sizes (M-L) and an L would’ve fit better. This is a very cute set that’s exactly as pictured, but for me, the skirt was a little tight. I’m a somewhat curvy woman and it fit uncomfortably around the waist. Still, I highly recommend it! The fabric is thick and the cardigan is so cute with jeans or another skirt.
