This bar was perfect for my wife because she is weak sauce and can’t lift my Olympic bar very well. Now she can add a small amount of weight and can still do exercises.

This is an ingenious device. The main shaft arrives in two pieces that are easily and securely screwed together. There are optional cushioning hand grips that can be attached to the bar. I say optional, I guess, because I haven’t used them yet. The clamps at the ends of the bar that hold the dumbbells are already attached. It takes seconds to open the clamp, place the dumbbell inside, and re secure the clamp clasp. I’m able to use it without any sliding or movement of the attached weights at all. It’s like I have a barbell now without having to buy all of the parts or find the place to store them. My only concern is that the housing that holds the dumbbells is made of plastic. If I do a workout routine that involves putting the dumbbells in the clamp and taking them out each time, I have concerns about how long the plastic clamp will last.

Easy to assemble and use. It likey is not going to fit any of your neoprene barbells if you happen to use those. The ends are made to securely fit the CAP style of barbells.
