Been using a Big Stubby 2.0mm for years, but always felt it was too slippery and didn't like the dent in the middle. The pick just seemed to move around a lot and I couldn't get a comfortable grip. So I decided to search for the perfect pick and Im glad I did. I like the feel and playability of thicker picks so I purchased and sampled a TON of 1.0mm - 4mm...and as I decided many years ago, 2mm is the perfect size and feel for me. Once I tried these Dunlop Primetone Sculpted plectras, my search was over! These are the only picks I use now with all my guitars. Great feel and tone. The pick just glides through the strings...really nice for lead runs and strumming and the raised lettering provided the perfect amount of grip. The only negative thing I would say is if you have a really dark sounding guitar, this might make it a bit darker.

Yes, they're pricey, but they make your guitar sound good. The grip helps...

Good quality pick. Like the thickness, grip and sound.

Impressive! Clarity and durability indeed! These 73mm immediately entered my top three! I would love to see a thinner version of these picks, just under 70mm, maybe something between 60mm or 67mm! This would be an absolute killer!

I love the feel of these and when they're new and holding form they're great. They are made of a harder plastic and as they wear they can wind up kind of sharpening and then they catch a bit on the strings. Basically I find myself retiring these a little sooner than I'd like too for the price but I keep buying them because they look and feel good.

I kept hearing a lot of good things about these Primetone guitar picks. I wanted to try one but they're kinda pricey. This traditional shape was the most affordable. The angles on these sculpted picks really helps with attacks on leads. There's very little resistance making it super fast. The texture of the lettering provide a really comfortable grip. Strumming is smooth also and no real pick noise noted.

Disclaimer: this is only for acoustic guitar. I use Different picks for electric. But for acoustic guitar playing I bought every known and unknown guitar pick on the market over the last year and a half. Every brand and every material. Celluloid Gortex Ultex bone horn shell wood you name it. And every gauge. These specific picks have for now at least replaced my love for the amazing smooth matte surfaces Dunlop gortex picks — which are still fantastic picks BTW, simply because they too are Gortex and are just as smooth, but with sculpted edges and a very usable and helpful grip on both sides. I’ve compared them to every other pick in sound tests and they have the least invasive most pure tone. None of that clanky plasticy sound of regular celluloid picks or bone or shell or horn picks. Just pure sweet rich acoustic tone. Easy to grip and hang onto. I love That they come in an .88 gauge, as opposed to having to choose between the too-thin .75 gauge or the slightly too thick 1.00 gauge. They’re damn near perfect.

I'm a beginner electric guitar player. I've been in a quest to find the perfect pick and this is it. Great grip and tone. The size is perfect for me, otherwise I miss strings. This pick is stiffer, meaning that .73 mm in this pick is equivalent to .80 mm in other picks made with regular materials. I can do solos or strum with it, no swear. I also own the 2mm version of this pick, which I like a lot, I change them every now and then. The tone you get with the 2mm version is way rounder and mellower, and it is a simple way to bring down a notch a overly bright guitar. Durability wise, I use them everyday and they don't seem to worn out.Think no more and get these picks even thought they are more expensive than regular ones.

These are the best picks money can buy. I have been using the same one for over four years and there is only negligible wear. I only bought more as it is the first time I have seen them available since my first purchase.

It is much better than expected. I am using it for my acoustic guitar.

I have 3 different gauges of Primetone picks and like the way they glide off the strings, The 1.0 is versatile, strum or pick. More money than the standard picks, but a nice upgrade.
