Cleaning a black powder rifle and your wife won't let you Soak and clean it in the bathtub?THIS Tall bucket is perfect. HOT HOT water and Dawn dishwashing liquid. Use a Range rod with full size felt mop jag to pump soapy water up thru the nipple flash hole. Remove the nipple to get good flow and allow the chunks to drain. Makes FAST work of a dirty DIRTY job. Get two. One for Soapy wash, the second for hot freshwater rinse.

Was disappointed. I bought this, thinking it was food-grade plastic, but it smells strongly of plastic. The bucket fits the Gamma lid I bought for it, so I'm using it to store garden tools outdoors in the shed.Can't use it for food storage because of the smell, can't use it for camping or clothing storage because of the smell either. What a bummer.
Misleading

I needed a pail at least 12.5 in. or bigger. This one is listed to be 13in. wide, but it's actually not. It's only about 11.5in. Very misleading. I can't use it for what I wanted it for. I can't return it, since the shipping cost is more than the pail is worth. Do not buy.

It's not a very heavy gadget plastic.
